'AGT' Season 19: Watch Sebastian & Sonia scare off judges as aerialist couple hits Sofia Vergara's X buzzer on stage

Sebastián Jiménez and Sonia Moreno make a shocking comeback after the aerialist couple loses control and hit signs at top of 'AGT' stage

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA: In 'America's Got Talent' Season 19, Sebastián Jiménez and Sonia Moreno used ropes in their choreography. The judges held their breath while they twirled around and clutched each other.

A few times, the pair lost control and struck the signs at the top of the stage, but they bounced back swiftly. When they landed, they appeared unfazed by the error.

Sonia let go of the ropes as their routine came to a close, and Sebastian grabbed her in the air.

Sofía Vergara described their act as "so flawless" and "so sexy" since they complement each other on stage. Howie Mandel proclaimed them the finest double aerial performance he'd ever seen, while Heidi Klum described them as "mind-blowing."

Simon Cowell stated that it was "difficult, stunning, and so beautifully synchronized." He also described them as "the best of this type" he'd seen.

"Going forward - I will use you as a benchmark for what I view as the best I've ever seen," replied Simon.

All four judges unanimously agreed to advance them to the next round.

As a pair, Sonia and Sebastian both participate in aerial arts. Before they ever dated, Sebastian and Sonia connected online and united their desires to create an aerial pair performance.

When Sofia inquired whether working together was ever awkward, they said, "Only sometimes."

"Well, me and Howie have been able to do it for 50 years," Simon laughed.

'AGT' fans were equally stunned by the act as they took to social media to share their concerns, "ARE THEY OKAY!? THEY HIT THE SIGN AND KEPT GOING!!!" Another user chimed in, "This was a bit better. Entertaining. Wonder if they met to hit Sophia name up there."

One user further wrote, "Sebastian and Sonia were by far the best act of the night and probably the season." A fourth person noted, "Sebastian and Sonia might be my #1 audition so far this season If I'm really thinking about it."

One viewer tweeted., "This is definitely one of the best aerial acts they’ve had on #AGT! Sebastian and Sonia, I’m excited to see what you do next!" Another read, "AMazing act there from Sonia and Sebastian. I'm surprised and glad they didn't knock down the X that belongs to Sofia's buzzer."
