Who is Nick Swisher?

Nick, a former baseball player, married Garcia in 2010. Hailing from a baseball-centric family, with his father having played 509 games in the Major League, Nick himself had an impressive career. He played as an outfielder for five different major league baseball teams. In addition to this, he was also regarded as the first baseman in the Major baseball league. In 2009, he won the Word Series while playing for the New York Yankees. Though he may not have made it to the Hall of Fame, his impact on the baseball world was undeniable, spanning from 2002 to 2015.

However, it's not just sports that make Nick an extraordinary individual. He's also a philanthropist. In 2011, he released a children's music album titled 'Believe' which not only climbed to an impressive No 3 on the iTunes Children's album chart but also contributed to a more noble cause. A generous percentage of the album's earnings went straight to his charity organization, Swish's Wishes. This organization aims to help children who face health crises, by spreading joy and making their dreams come true. Currently, the 42-year-old can be found sharing his expertise as a studio analyst for Fox Sports.

JoAnna Garcia Swisher and Nick Swisher's love story

Their love story began with an unexpected setup orchestrated by a mutual friend. At first, Garcia didn't exactly envision herself dating an athlete. “It certainly wasn’t the first type of profession for a guy that I wanted to date," she said in an interview with Us Weekly. However, as she got to know Nick better, she grew closer to him. He seemed to be focused on starting a serious relationship.

Nick showed Garcia that he was in it for the long run. His persistence paid off. Soon, they got married and their family grew after they had two daughters. Nick showed he was Garcia's teammate for life. He seems to have hit a home run straight to Garcia's heart. The actress was not shy about speaking about their sex life and was very open about what happens in her bedroom.

During her appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live', Garcia played a game called "Nick Disher" with host Andy Cohen. When asked if she found her husband's baseball uniform to be a turn-on, she confidently replied, "I take it off into the bedroom." When Cohen asked for more bedroom stories, she said, "Drunk sex is the best, but victory sex is nice."

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the couple celebrated their remarkable 12-year anniversary, showcasing their enduring love and unwavering bond.
