KLEINBURG, ONTARIO: 'The Bachelor' Season 28 star Joey Graziadei is set to visit Ontario, Canada to meet Maria Georgas's father, Nick Georgas, during the hometown date.
Maria's father, Nick, is the president of Jubilee Candy Corp, a leading confectionery manufacturer specializing in cake decorations. He started working at the age of 10 on equipment making chocolate and rainbow sprinkles at Global Candy Ltd.
According to Nick's LinkedIn profile, he pursued finance from the University of Toronto and also studied at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Chicago.
He has over 35 years of experience in the candy and baking industry and has been taking care of his daughters after the divorce.
Nick is close to his daughters especially Maria and made sure that no one could hurt her.
In the preview of the upcoming episode, Joey takes a huge step in his relationship and meets Maria's father during the hometown date.
He claimed, "Meeting someone's family is a very big deal." He had met Vin Diesel possibly when Maria was shooting 'The Pacifier' with the actor.
Before meeting Nick, Joey asked Maria, "When's the last time you've brought someone home?" Maria responded, "I've never brought anyone home," adding, "My dad is not going to make it easy."
The preview then moved to Maria's home where Nick questioned the ABC show star's indecision, "It's hard for me right now because I don't know where you stand."
Nick admitted in the confessional, "Maria is 100% Daddy's girl. If she gets hurt, It would be a problem for Joey."

She revealed that a cement truck crashed into the car she was in with her mother. She told 'The Bachelor' star Joey Graziadei that her car seat was shattered into pieces and was even declared dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Maria's mother suffered severe injuries and broke nearly every bone in her body. Since then, she had an unstable relationship with her mother.
During the episode, Maria revealed that her mother was unable to be present for much of her childhood due to her injuries.
