BLACK TOWN, NORTH CAROLINA: Max Dasher, a skilled musician, and singer-songwriter from Black Mountain, North Carolina, is ready to impress viewers with his vocal abilities on the next episode of 'American Idol' Season 22.

During his audition, Max Dasher walked into the room with palpable nervousness, resembling a squirrel being chased by a dog. Despite the initial anxiety, he successfully overcame his nerves, revealing his southern drawl while delivering a compelling performance in front of judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan.

Max Dasher delivered a captivating rendition of the Utah Phillips song "Rock Salt and Nails," notably covered by Tyler Childers. With confidence, Dasher showcased his vocal and guitar skills, presenting a soulful and graceful interpretation of the lyrics during his performance.

Shortly after, Dasher left the judges impressed with his outstanding performance, ultimately earning himself a coveted golden ticket to Hollywood.

However, it looks like the fans of the show loved his performance.  One social media user wrote, "Max this is fire." Another user chimed in, "Definitely has a sparkle." A user went on to say, "Love this."

Followed by a user who penned, "Amazing. Love it." One comment read, "So good." "Awesome Max," said another.

From the very first notes sung by Max Dasher, the judges were captivated by his exceptional vocal quality, which unsurprisingly bore a striking resemblance to Childers.

“You have that sparkle….it’s the stuff. There’s an undeniable authenticity…it’s like a gold rush," Katy told Dasher after giving him a standing ovation.

On the other hand, Luke Bryan rose from his seat to offer some valuable advice on enhancing Max Dasher's stage presence. In particular, he recommended that Dasher should approach his audition with renewed confidence, projecting an aura of ownership and authority that perfectly complements his impressive vocal abilities.

By reimagining his entrance and asserting himself as a force to be reckoned with, Dasher can truly showcase the full extent of his talent.

“What I love about you is you just did your audition exactly the way I would have. Freaking out, playing the guitar like you’re trying to break a string. If we can get you to breathe and calm down and understand that you’re pretty damn cool…that you’ve got a little bit of magic to ya," Luke said.

Lionel was also impressed by Max's outstanding performance, and his positive feedback, along with the unanimous agreement from all three judges, has ultimately paved the way for Max's exciting journey to Hollywood.
