EAST BRUNSWICK, NEW JERSEY: Teresa and Luis' wedding will be featured on an upcoming episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' on May 23, 2023. In the sneak peek released by Bravo, we get a look inside their big day, complete with several Bravolebs in attendance. The couple got married in New Jersey in front of their family and friend, and the guest list was a who's who of loved ones and Bravolebs. With Teresa's own family missing out on the big day, Luis' family stepped up, including one of his sisters.

Teresa's four children -- Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana -- were among the bridesmaids. We can also see Luis' boys during the wedding, which was performed by Luis' older sister Dr Veronica Ruelas.

Who is Dr Veronica Ruelas?

Veronica is a business owner, doctor, author, speaker, yoga and meditation instructor, and philanthropist. She has had a thriving optometric practice for the past 20 years, launched the non-profit ThirdEyeVision Foundation, which provides free eye treatment and is the founder and CEO of AshramChic. She is a trend forecaster who deliberately positioned herself in new markets before they became popular. This has brought her to the next critical necessity of our society, forgiveness. She is the driving factor behind the behavioral and spiritual sciences of "forgivity".

Veronica has a private practice optometrist in New York. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York, and a doctorate in optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry.

Is Veronica Ruelas married?

Veronica and Gary Thomas Giglio got married in 2018 at Central Park's Loeb Boathouse. Rev. Gino Vacaro of the Kingdom Life Church in New Port Richey, Florida officiated the wedding. Gary is a Goldman Sachs partner in New York. He attended West Point and Dartmouth College, where he earned an MBA.

He was born in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, to Theresa L Giglio and Vincent J Giglio. His mother worked for Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, a charity organization based in Ossining, New York. His father worked in the Lakeland School District in Shrub Oak, New York, as an athletic director, coach, and teacher.

Veronica met her husband on a blind date set up by a mutual acquaintance in 2015. Their first date took place at the Atrio restaurant in New York's Conrad Hotel.

Teresa's ex tried to hit on her new sister-in-law

Veronica, whom Teresa refers to as "a sister I never had" in the Bravo preview, had a slim probability of becoming even more entwined with the New Jersey family. Teresa's ex-husband Joe Giudice, whom she was married for nearly 20 years and had four children with, flirted with Luis Ruelas' sister Veronica in June 2022, just before her second wedding. When Teresa posted a photo of herself with her prospective sisters-in-law on Instagram, Joe responded, "Is the tall one married?" referring to Veronica.

Most people would be irritated if their ex-husband wanted to shoot their shot with their new sister-in-law. When asked about the online flirting, Teresa didn't appear upset by Joe's attempted courting.

'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 13 airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
