One of the new friends on the show is none other than Jen Shah's close friend Angie Katsanevas. 'RHOSLC' fans may recognize this Greek-American entrepreneur from the infamous Fresh Wolf party thrown by housewife Lisa Barlow. Who is Angie Katsanevas' husband Shawn Trujillo?
Shawn Trujillo is the co-founder of Lunatic Fringe hair salon with his wife. This 51-year-old hairstylist first crossed paths with his future wife almost 27 years ago when she set foot as a guest in the salon he was working at. During an appearance on 'The Glow Boss' podcast, Angie recounted how she met and fell in love with her handsome husband.
She recounted how she was a guest at his salon before she began dating him. "Back then there weren’t many men in the salon industry", she recalled. When she first saw Shawn she found him to be "very sweet, shy, muscular, and good-looking". She admitted that she developed a crush on him almost immediately. But the two actually didn't officially meet until she began working at the salon and was his assistant.
Angie revealed that Shawn asked her out on Valentine's Day since they both didn't have a date. The rest is history as they say. The couple tied the knot in 1999, and opened their first ever hair salon- Lunatic Fringe together immediately after their wedding. The couple is happily married with a beautiful daughter- Elektra, 11. Angie regularly expresses her love for her husband on her Instagram posts. In a recent post, the entrepreneur praised him for being a great father. She wrote, "Science says choosing our mate is not left to blind chance. Our mate choice is based on certain qualities to create the perfect offspring. As a wild 21 year old girl I was intuitively choosing the future father of my daughter. He was handsome, strong, determined, focused, competitive, integral, with big muscles, big goals and big dreams. He wanted to be the best at everything he did. And when he became a Father he did just that🖤🖤
