Top 5 worst patients on 'My 600-lb Life'
The parameters for the worst patients are calculated on the basis of their level of rudeness, stubbornness, low self-esteem and level of self-motivation. Recently, a few fans posted a poll of the worst patients from 'My 600-lb Life' on Reddit. According to the poll, here is the list of the top 5 worst patients of 'My 600-lb Life':
1. Steven Assanti
Steven Assanti got 54% of the votes. He appeared in the last two episodes of 'My 600-Lb Life' Season 5. Steven's aggressive attitude and rude behavior attracted a lot of hate. He violated the rules of one of the hospitals where he was prepping for gastric bypass surgery by ordering a pizza. Moreover, he rarely followed the doctors' diet plans. Throwing tantrums was one of the things that Steven knew well. Some of the fans think Steven should not even be included in the poll as he had his own category of being the worst patient.
2. Maja Radonovic
Maja Radonovic was 690lbs when she first entered the show. She had abandonment issues and that was the trigger for her weight gain. Maja was motivated at first, but there was no major change in her weight-loss journey throughout the show. Every time she faced a little change in her life, be it a breakup with her fiance or moving to a new city, she struggled with her weight. Even though she was too difficult to handle, Maja successfully went underwent bariatric surgery and is in a much healthier space now.
3. Schenee Murray
Schenee Murray and Maja are equally considered by Reddit fans to be the worst patients. Schenee weighed 712lbs when she entered the show. Her food addiction stemmed from being sexually assaulted as a child and two devastating miscarriages. Fans labeled her one of the worst patients as she was a delusional patient who refused to follow any of Dr Now's diet plans. A fan called out Schenee for discrediting the doctor's abilities on social media and calling him a racist. Schenee didn't lose any weight while she was on the show. However, Looper reported that the star lost 260lbs later.
4. Penny Saeger
Penny Saeger was another notorious patient. She appeared in 'My 600-Lb Life' Season 2. Back then, she was 530lbs and completely bedridden. Her unwillingness to monitor her food portions led her to gain more weight. Penny was accused by Dr Now on the show of being "delusional" about her situation. As of now, there are no reports of whether she has gone through any surgery or has lost any significant weight. Penny seems to have vanished after the show finished.
5. Lee Sutton
Love often helps you get over the pain, but in Lee Sutton's case, it was the opposite. He fell in love with Rena Kiser, who he met at a bariatric rehabilitation facility. Lee had anger issues that led to physical and verbal abuse. He was considered rude toward Kiser as he cheated on her with a married woman. Both eventually ended their relationship after several months. However, The List reported that she eventually took him back in the end. A spat between Dr Now and Lee culminated because of his anger issues. He was 714lbs in the beginning and became 411lbs later. However, things didn't work out for him later. As of now, there are no reports indicating if he has lost any weight.
