PARIS, FRANCE: American artistic gymnast Jade Carey, who won a gold medal in the floor exercise at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, pushed through an illness to make it to the vault finals at the Paris Olympics 2024 on July 28, 2024, says a report on the official website for Olympics. Unfortunately, she couldn't defend her Olympic title on the floor exercise after a fall that kept her from qualifying for the finals, held in France.

Jade Carey, 24, is being coached by her father since 2017. She started her college at Ohio State University in 2023, where Brian also works as an assistant gymnastics coach, according to a report by The Maricopa Moderator. Jade's parents, Brian Carey and Danielle Mitchell-Greenberg, both former gymnasts, have been incredibly supportive of her career. Even though they divorced when Jade was younger, they still collaborate for her career.
