Where is Tammy Slaton now? '1000-lb Sisters' continues to post TikToks while in rehab

With Season 3 coming to an end, here's an update on Tammy, after she was admitted in the hospital for 3 weeks

For Tammy Slaton, her health has been a growing concern all season. With Chris finally getting gastric sleeve surgery, it seems as though Tammy is the one who gets left behind. The situation has only been getting worse, as the rest of Tammy's siblings seem to be moving on with their lives, leaving her behind.

In addition to this, Tammy's constant partying and drinking has done her no favors. Now, with Dr Smith visiting her and telling her it is okay to reach out for help, Tammy seems to be ready to do just that, as she gears up to go back to rehab for as long as it takes.

Making the first move and asking for help was not easy for Tammy, but as she explained to Dr Smith, she realized that she had had enough while going to the bathroom one day. She was ready to commit to rehab for as long as required. Dr Smith assured her that she would be eligible for surgery once she dropped down to the 500-lb range. Tammy's entire family showed up to support her as Chris and Brittany drove her to rehab. Although there was a scare on the 8-hour journey, seeing that her oxygen level dropped, Chris was able to check her in without any hassle. However, things took a turn for the worse the next day, as Tammy's breathing became an issue. She was rushed to the hospital and put in an induced coma.

While her entire family was worried sick, she managed to make it through and was hospitalized for three weeks before going back to rehab. This brush with death certainly seems to have given her a new lease on life, as Chris mentioned that following her hospital stay, Tammy had lost 115 pounds in 30 days. Fans were glad that she made progress even though it took such a massive scare for her to get there.

She wouldn't have lost 115lbs in 30days by herself #1000lbSisters" added another. "#1000lbSisters ended on a great note!! I hope Tammy is still motivated and losing weight!! S/o to her fam for never giving up on her!!" said a fan. "Tammy really waited til she was at death's door before she went back to rehab. I hope she stays this time. #1000lbSisters" wrote another. "I'm Happy Tammy Is Trying To Get Help By Going To Rehab! I Just Hope She Makes It Through & Stick To It! #1000lbSisters" tweeted a user.

But while Tammy seems to have made some progress, fans aren't entirely convinced just yet and still believe that she has a long way to go. 

"I am a negative Nancy when it comes to Tammy losing weight. I will believe it when she loses a significant amount…and is approved for surgery…and keeps it off. 😊 K, byeeeee." said a fan. "I'll believe Tammy when she can lose the weight out of a controlled environment. That's how I'll know she truly changed and wants to get better. Until then, I just don't believe her. #1000lbSisters" added another.

Where is Tammy now?

As per her social media, it looks Tammy is still in rehab. Her TikTik - itsqueentammy86, is as active as ever, with Tammy having posted a video a day ago (as of this article). Most of the videos are her lipsyncing to songs, but as her the background, it looks like she is still working on her health, as she has not returned home.
