LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The upcoming Netflix biographical drama, 'Supersex' is based on the life of Italian pornographic actor Rocco Siffredi.

The seven-part series, which is scheduled to be released on March 6, is created and written by Francesca Manieri.

The show will provide insight into Siffredi's early years, relationships, and journey into the pornographic industry.

The starring role of the Italian actor will be portrayed by Alessandro Borghi in the series, which premiered at the 74th Berlin Film Festival.

Siffredi, a prolific actor, director, and producer in the adult entertainment space decided to get into the industry back when he was a teenager.

He later moved to Paris to further his career, frequenting sex clubs until renowned French pornographer Gabriel Pontello saw him.

Consequently, Siffredi began his journey in the industry in 1986 with 'Sodopunition pour dépravées sexuelles'.

This paved the way for a three-decade-long career that netted him almost 1,400 acting credits.

When did Supersex's Rocco Siffredi retire?

Siffredi, who achieved enormous popularity, spent a big part of his career with the pornographic studio Evil Angel and his own studio.

In June 2004, the actor declared his untimely retirement, stating he would retire for the sake of his children and would concentrate on direction and production only.

Nevertheless, he had to come back from retirement in 2009 due to dissatisfaction with his male performers and the state of the industry at that time.

In 2015, he announced his retirement again, noting that he felt something had changed within him.

But not long after, the actor was back in front of the camera, and the announcement backfired.

In 2022, he issued another announcement, stating that he had ceased performing but that this did not imply retirement.

Despite his numerous failed attempts at retirement, the actor continued to appear in front of cameras.

He's married to Rosa Caracciolo. Their son Lorenzo Siffredi occasionally worked as a camera operator in his films.

Lately, the actor has been actively working at his production studio, where he creates and directs films. He has been also spotted promoting his Netflix biographical series.

'Supersex' will be available for streaming on Netflix from March 6
