CALIFORNIA, LOS ANGELES: Netflix is finally coming up with a new thrilling reality show competition. According to the teaser released by Netflix, 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' will premiere on January 10, 2024. The first four episodes will be released on the premiere date.

New episodes will be released in batches per week for three weeks. The last batch of 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' episode will be released on January 27, 2024.

This reality show is not just like any regular game show that focuses on eliminating contestants instead it's a game of trust, confidence, and intelligence.

The group of contestants are given $250,000 and they have to divide it among themselves equally. The main question is whether the contestants will play fair or get greedy about getting more money and voting each other out.

Instead of struggling each week to go one step closer to the prize, the candidates are given the money immediately away. What happens next, and how they decide to divide the money, is when the game gets fascinating — or, better still, downright nasty. Because the players' fates are in their own hands in this social experiment: no one needs to win or lose.

The winner of Netflix's 'The Trust' will get to keep $250,000 as a winning amount.

What is Netflix's 'The Trust: A Game of Greed' Season 1 all about?

This game is all about how much can one trust the other. A group of strangers are brought together from different walks of life. They are asked to divide a quarter million dollars among themselves. There is no set rule for elimination. However, contestants can anonymously vote out. This would increase their share in the prize pot. Making this more engaging a single vote can send a contestant back home but if there's a tie, they get to stay in the game.

Throughout eight episodes, the participants will learn about each other's backgrounds and personalities through a series of tests designed to reveal who is a team player and who is only looking out for themselves. The game is leveled up as players receive access to The Vault in each round, where they will be lured with an offer that benefits them individually or the group as a whole. It would be interesting to see who would give up on the attractions of the Vault!
