In the upcoming horror limited series from the Duffer Brothers titled 'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen', the ominous title serves not as a threat but as an indication of things to come. Camila Morrone stars as Rachel, a hopeful bride-to-be, who is looking forward to marrying the love of her life, Nicky, played by 'The White Lotus' star Adam DiMarco.

However, what starts as an optimistic beginning to a new chapter in their lives soon becomes a foreboding nightmare that Camila could scarcely have anticipated. The upcoming Netflix-produced series recently dropped a full-length trailer, and one can't help but be horrified!

The trailer opens with the usual love story between Nicky and Rachel, as both agree to skip the extravagance of a lavish wedding and simply exchange vows in a quiet ceremony. However, things soon become increasingly eerie, as Rachel says, "Ever since we got here, I feel like something weird is going on."

The days leading up to the wedding become increasingly uneasy for the couple. Elsewhere, Nicky's bizarre family, including his fiercely controlling mother, Victoria, played by Jennifer Jason Leigh, and her husband, Boris, played by Ted Levine, who enables her at every step, does not come across to Rachel as the picture of domestic bliss.

The official Netflix synopsis reads, "If Carrie is horror’s version of a girl becoming a woman, and Rosemary’s Baby is the horrific version of a woman becoming a mother, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is horror’s take on a woman becoming a wife. Rachel is getting married in five days. Together with her fiancé, Nicky, she embarks on a road trip to his family’s vacation home, secluded in a snowy forest, for the intimate wedding ceremony of their dreams. Which really would be so lovely, except…prone to superstition and paranoia, Rachel can’t shake the relentless feeling that something bad is going to happen. Her foreboding doubts, coupled with a series of eerie coincidences and dreadful surprises, force her to ask the question: What makes two people soulmates? And worse—what could be scarier than lifelong commitment to the wrong person?"

At the heart of 'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen' is the uncanny contradiction in the relationship between Nicky and Rachel. Speaking in an interview with Tudum in this respect, Haley Z. Boston noted, "Rachel and Nicky have a really solid relationship … but there are fundamental differences and some misunderstandings; they complement each other in that where he’s missing an edge, she has it."

Boston further spoke about finding her inspiration in the genre of horror when she revealed, "I love horror. It’s natural to me," she said. "It’s the way that I process my own emotions and feelings and my own understanding of the world. Horror allows you to explore taboo feelings and take all of these fears and give them some bite." 'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen' arrives on Netflix on March 26.
