Three years later, the filmmaker came forward with another movie in the aforementioned genre, titled ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’, and made everyone realize that he has the ability to tell complex stories with minimal effort. After conquering the world of cinema with extraordinary storytelling, it’s time for viewers to check out how he can expand his canvas while creating an entire TV show for the first time in his career.

Titled ‘Poker Face’, the series is a mystery-of-the-week and follows a woman named Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne), who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but crack. Every week, viewers will be seeing Charlie meeting new people and tackling new situations that put her in harm’s way.

When will Rian Johnson’s ‘Poker Face’ be release on Peacock?

The 10-episode mystery-of-the-week series will be making its debut on Peacock on Thursday, January 26, at 3:01 am EST. Surprisingly, all the episodes won’t be available for streaming on the very first day as the streaming platform will be following a unique pattern for the mystery drama. The show will premiere with four episodes on January 26 and week after week, the streaming service will air new episodes to keep the ball rolling.

The first episode of the series will be 67 minutes long and is titled ‘Dead Man’s Hand’.

Apart from Lyonne, the series also stars Benjamin Bratt, Adrien Brody, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Hong Chau, Danielle Macdonald, David Castaneda, Ellen Barkin, Jameela Jamil, Ron Perlman, and more in pivotal roles.
