When will Olujo be available? 'RHOM' star Larsa Pippen’s tequila brand to launch in US two years after the concept began
MIAMI, FLORIDA: Larsa Pippen of 'The Real Housewives of Miami' has disclosed the official launch date for her tequila business, Olujo, which began two years ago, The US Sun exclusively revealed. Olujo has yet to formally launch in the United States.
Larsa's business partner, Adam Weitsman, told The US Sun that they want to launch the tequila in the United States within "four months."
"We are in the production process and working with the best consultants. We're trying to perfect the juice to make it one of the finest tequilas in the world," he revealed.
"We have put a lot of work into this and are not rushing the process."
The restaurateur went on to say that Larsa "has gotten her hands dirty" and that he was startled to see how much of a "workhorse" she has been throughout her two years at Olujo.
'RHOM' star Larsa Pippen’s tequila brand Olujo’s launch date on hold due to pending trademarks
Olujo Inc. has filed many trademarks that are currently pending. In February 2023, Olujo Inc. registered for a trademark for its standard character mark.
The corporation then filed two further trademarks in April 2023, one for an illustration drawing with the name Olujo and one for an illustration drawing without any words, which is the emblem shown on the necklaces Larsa gave her co-stars. The fourth trademark for the distilled blue agave liquor was another bottle illustration.
As of February 13, 2024, the status of the first three trademarks is that a Notice of Allowance has been issued, and the corporation must now file a Statement of Use.
The fourth trademark, the bottle, as seen on the show, is a little late, with the application published for objection. Olujo might debut before the trademark is authorized, but there is a risk of someone copying the name.
According to standards, brands can be introduced while the trademark is still pending, since it is safeguarded from the date of filing. Adam informed The US Sun that all the trademarks are on track and that there is no hold-up, even though they are taking time to be authorized.
'RHOM' star Larsa Pippen’s tequila brand Olujo will be available in three flavors
The tequila does not yet have an official website or social media sites. The sole information available online comes from Adam's website, which characterizes the brand as "Aged for palate perfection, OLUJO is high-craft tequila that’s raised and harvested for the smoothest sip."
"Distilled at the source in Jalisco, Mexico, OLUJO is an homage to the past with an eye on the future."
According to Adam, Olujo will offer three tequila options: Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Aged Añejo. The tequila will be marketed in the same white bottle as shown on Real Housewives, but the Reposado will be in a glass container and the Añejo, a higher-end tequila, will be in a white ceramic bottle.
'RHOM' star Larsa Pippen invested $800k in tequila brand Olujo
Bravo viewers got a first look at Larsa's new tequila, Olujo, on the February 14 episode of 'RHOM'. While on their cast trip to Mexico, the girls had the opportunity to try Olujo and meet the entrepreneur's business partners, Oliver Camilo and Adam, at the posh restaurant Blanco Colima.
Julia Lemigova, Kiki Barth, and Alexia Nepola, even received a diamond necklace featuring Olujo's sign. Larsa informed the group that the idea originated two years ago when she told millionaire Adam, "Let's do a tequila!"
She also stated that she had invested $800,000 in the brand.
