'Aquamarine' star and 'Yellowstone' favorite set to join 'Grey's Anatomy' in Episode 11
The next 'Grey's Anatomy' episode, airing on February 26, will introduce two new stars, including a 'Yellowstone' alum, marking a turning point for the show as it returns after a brief hiatus. Season 22, Episode 11, titled '(If You Want It) Do It Yourself', was initially scheduled to drop on February 5. However, ABC decided to alter the schedule, most likely due to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics (February 6-February 22). Earlier, Deadline had reported that Sara Paxton and Jen Landon would make their debut together in Episode 11.
Paxton's character, Leticia, will be seen as "a discouraged sister accompanying her brother Corban during his hospital stay. Unfortunately, this is not her first time on this journey, leaving her with very little optimism about a positive outcome," as per Shondaland. Connor Price will play her brother, Corban, in the series. Their story will span two episodes, meaning both Paxton and Price will be featured in episodes 11 and 12 of Season 22.
Paxton is best remembered for playing the leading role in the 2006 teen comedy 'Aquamarine', alongside Emma Roberts and Joanna 'JoJo' Levesque. Moreover, Paxton earned an Emmy nomination for her role as Darcy Fields in the Discovery Kids series 'Darcy's Wild Life'. She recently appeared in Andrew Dominik's 'Blonde', (featuring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe), her husband Zach Cregger's 'Weapons', and Craig Rosenberg's thriller series, 'Based on a True Story'. This is her second collaboration with Shondaland, as she had guest-starred as Natalia 'Talia' Lewis in 'How to Get Away With Murder' in 2014.
On the other hand, Landon, who found fame playing Teeter on 'Yellowstone', will join in a recurring role for four episodes this season. Deadline described her character as someone with a "resume of accolades and innovations, which intimidates all who anticipate meeting her. Though particular and precise in an operating room, Toni possesses a magnetic zest for life and exudes warmth with patients and her students. Outside of work, she's a charming and disorganized mess who says yes more than no." She follows in the footsteps of former plastic surgeons like Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) and Jackson Avery (Jessie Williams), who ended up having multi-season arcs on the long-running series. The source also added that "there is a possibility for Landon to do more episodes beyond the initial four."
The 42-year-old actress rose to prominence with her Emmy award-winning role as Gwen Norbeck/Cleo Babbitt in 'As the World Turns'. She went on to star in 'The Young and the Restless', 'Animal Kingdom', and 'FBI: Most Wanted'. Her film credits include Jason Reitman's political drama 'The Front Runner', and Max Barbakow's crime comedy 'Brothers'. In 2024, she was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Awards for 'Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series' for 'Yellowstone' along with her castmates.
