'90 Day: The Last Resort' Season 3 finally gets release date as trailer hints at massive revelations
TLC has set a premiere date for the new season of ‘90 Day: The Last Resort,’ and it's sure to be an exciting ride. The spin-off to '90 Day Fiancé' will release on Monday, June 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. In total, six 90 Day Fiancé alums will arrive at the historic Thornbury Castle to give their relationship another chance. These couples include Jenny and Sumit, Shekinah and Sarper, Kara and Guillermo, Paola and Russ, Thais and Patrick, and Rebecca and Zied. The show will also have a companion series, 'Last Resort: Between the Sheets,' which will air after the main episodes.
As per the show's synopsis, all the couples have reached a breaking point in their relationships. To rejuvenate their love, they will spend three weeks in the beautiful English countryside, where they will participate in a therapy retreat. Three therapists will engage with the duos to guide them through their issues, including "infidelity and cheating, communication breakdowns, sexual incompatibilities, and financial strains." The show will feature the couples in group therapy sessions, mingling with other duos across the franchise, and participating in non-traditional exercises to improve their relationship and build trust and intimacy. However, it will all come down to a recommitment ceremony where the couples will choose whether they want to stay or leave.
The much-awaited trailer features the couples getting massages, fighting, and revealing massive secrets. Jenny is seen arguing with her long-time partner, Sumit, about going into a bar despite his issues with alcohol. One of the biggest revelations in the video comes from Paola, who shares that she met with a lawyer behind Russ' back to "see my options about getting divorced." The short video also sees Shekinah and Thais getting into a brutal argument at dinner. Things also seemingly get violent as they yell, "Go back to your country." Fans also see a glimpse of the recommitment ceremony, where an emotional Jenny professes her love and begs Sumit to choose her. It is safe to say that the audience is in for a thrilling season.
The show will be accompanied by 'Last Resort: Between the Sheets,' which will feature deep dives into each episode. Contestants will take center stage in each hour-long installment as they share their take on the episodes and spill some behind-the-scenes secrets. All the drama will unfold when '90 Day: The Last Resort' Season 3 begins airing on June 1 on TLC.
