The highly anticipated eighth episode of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 4 is just around the corner, and fans can't wait to learn how Mike McLusky's (played by Jeremy Renner) plan to have Frank arrested pans out. For the unversed, Taylor Sheridan's gritty crime drama series follows Mike, the mayor of Kingston, Michigan, a fictional town where incarceration has become the main business. The fourth season places Mike in the midst of a full-blown gang war. Upping the stakes, in the seventh episode, titled ‘My Way', Bunny (Tobi Bamtefa) learns that Frank (Lennie James) was the one who set him up to be killed.

As per Screen Rant, the seventh episode saw Renner's Mike manipulating powers to balance out the cartel. The episode sees him move Merle Callahan (Richard Brake) from isolation back to Gen Pop. Callahan, however, manages to escape with the help of his Aryan Brotherhood allies, including some guards. In another development, Mike discussed his plan to have Frank arrested, with Bunny, hoping to get his brother, Kyle (Taylor Handly), out of prison and help Warden Nina Hobbs (Edie Falco) escape the clutches of the Cartel.

The eighth episode of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 4 will pick up right after the events of episode 7.  As per Rotten Tomatoes, the official synopsis of the forthcoming episode reads, "Mike lays a dangerous trap while a prison break puts the town in peril; Hobbs extends an olive branch to Mike." But how well that plan will turn out is yet to be known. Additionally, the prison break could spell more trouble for Mike. McLusky will need to execute his plans quickly to prevent more chaos from happening.

The fate of Hobbs, too, is expected to be a major plot point of 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 4 Episode 8, titled 'Belleville'. Despite extending an olive branch to Mike, Hobbs is forced to work with the Cartel after a visit from Sicario, who ambushed her home and threatened her daughter. If Mike's plans to have Frank arrested fail, Hobbs would find herself in severe danger. But with just two more episodes remaining before the season finale, fans can expect some major plot twists in the upcoming 51-minute-long episode. Episode 8 of Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 will release on December 14 at 3 am ET exclusively on Paramount+, as per Red94. If you miss the episode, you can watch it on the app.
