Back when Marvel and Disney first started releasing new teaser trailers for 'Avengers: Doomsday' to go with the theatrical screenings of 'Avatar: Fire and Ash,' many had denounced the move as being too unconventional. However, in hindsight, it does seem like the MCU has gained the better part of the conversation surrounding the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday' release. Beginning earlier this month on December 18, Marvel's progressive rollout of teaser trailers has not only generated considerable and cumulative hype but also ensured that 'Avengers: Doomsday' remains relevant in conversation across social media.

As of this writing, three teasers have so far made it to the big screen. The first teaser that started it all offered an exclusive insight into Chris Evans' Steve Rogers, or Captain America, and his way of life after the conclusion of the events of 'Avengers: Endgame'. Riding a motorcycle back home set against the backdrop of the setting sun, Rogers is seen living with Peggy Carter. He then goes on to cradle a child, most probably his, with fondness in his eyes. The teaser ends with the announcement that Steve Rogers will be returning to the MCU.

The second teaser, albeit more dramatic than the first, features Chris Hemsworth as Thor, the formidable god of thunder. This time, he's seen sporting the familiar haircut from the days of 'Infinity War,' and Marvel presents him while he prays to his father Odin and the All-Fathers, requesting them to grant him strength. An undisclosed figure hangs nearby, hinting at the introduction of another friend or foe. Most notably, the teaser further introduced Thor's adopted daughter, Love. Lastly, the third teaser was a moving picture of the X-Men, including Magneto and Professor X playing a game of chess while the Mutants are locked in a raging battle at the X-Mansion. Ultimately, James Marsden's Cyclops unleashes a lethal optical blast as sentinels roam around him.

Once after being rolled out in theatres, the three teasers soon made their way online as low-quality phone recordings made by fans. These were soon brought down with painstaking consistency by Marvel and Disney, leaving many to wonder when they will be officially released online. As ScreenRant reports, the first teaser featuring Steve Rogers has already been released online by Marvel on December 23, and an analysis of its release schedule might shed some light on the overall pattern. The Steve Rogers teaser was published online by Marvel after about a week of its theatrical run.

Judging by this account, the second teaser can be speculated to arrive online on December 30, followed by the release of the third teaser on January 6 at 9 AM ET, while the fourth teaser might drop officially online on January 13 at 9 AM ET. Interestingly, ComicBookMovie recently reported that Marvel might drop a new teaser during the upcoming Super Bowl LX on February 8. 'Avengers: Doomsday' is scheduled to release exclusively in theatres on December 18, 2026.
