'What the f**k are these people doing?': 'Teen Mom' star Kailyn Lowry trashes Lifetime's 'Prison Brides'
MIDDLETOWN, DELAWARE: 'Teen Mom' star Kailyn Lowry took to her 'Barely Famous Podcast' to call out Lifetime's reality show 'Prison Brides.'
Seeing women change their countries and leave their families behind after falling in love with prison inmates made Kailyn wonder, "What the f**k are these people doing?"
"What were the circumstances that you felt the need that you needed to rob someone?" Kailyn questioned knowing some of the cast members of the show are in prison for robbery.
MTV star also wonders what a prison inmate possibly offers such beautiful and independent women.
Kailyn doesn't understand why these women are sacrificing so much to be convicted murderers or thieves.
Kailyn also calls out the stars as she doesn't understand why they are rushing to get married.
Kailyn believes the "delusional" women in the show can do much better than where they are in life currently.
She asks in her podcast, "How do you know as an inmate that you wanna be locked in for life with this person? You've not even seen outside of this wall."
Despite having hope for the couples, Kailyn does not believe that some of the cast members' relationships will work for too long.
What is 'Prison Brides' all about?
Lifetime's 'Prison Brides' follows the life of 7 couples. These couples struggle to maintain their relationship. The men of the show are prison inmates and the women are the free ones.
After the couples introduce themselves, they reveal how they met each other in real life. They started off as prison pen pals and later became lovers.
"The docuseries follows the women as they travel from their homes - many visiting the United States for the first time - to meet their prisoner fiancés, husbands or partners, to chart their futures together," read the synopsis.
When will 'Prison Brides' Season 1 Episode 3 release?
'Prison Brides' Season 1 Episode 3 is titled "I've Seen Him Naked Now." Emma will be seen leaving the UK to marry Curtis in this episode.
However, her wedding clothes will become a major issue ahead of D-day.
On the other hand, Erin will meet Michael's family in Ohio as they both plan a long-lasting future. He will take the help of one of Erin's friends to ask her to marry.
'Prison Brides' Season 1 airs new episodes every Wednesday 9.30 pm ET on Lifetime.
