What did Cage steal to get 50 years of jail time? 'Prison Brides' star's past revealed as he plans to marry

Cage, a Texas inmate, shared his past, shedding light on a crime typically not associated with such a lengthy imprisonment

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: 'Prison Brides' star Cage introduced himself in the recently released episode as a prison inmate from Lubbock, Texas. What spiked fans' interest the most was the prison inmate serving 50 years of jail time for "aggravated robbery."

This made many wonder what exactly did Cage steal that he got sentenced for so many years. Generally, 50 years of jail time is for someone convicted of assault or involvement in murder.

Amid Cage's intro, one questioned, "Dang 50 years for an aggravated robbery, what the f did he steal???now i'm curious." Another answered, "Because he's Latino he got 50 years. He stole a lV bag. That's all."

A fan in shock wrote, "Ain't no way he got 50 for an iv bag." Another disappointed fan claimed, "That's what I read in the blogs. Sad. 50 years kid is only 27." "Oh god, that's crazy, that's alooooot," commented one.

As of now, Cage has only spent 10 years in jail. He has 40 more to go. Despite so many years of sentenced jail time, Cage is looking forward to building a family with Andreea.

How did 'Prison Brides' couple Cage and Andreea meet?

It was revealed on Lifetime's reality show that Andreea met Cage through a website called WriteAPrisoner.com. She believed it to be a dating website. 

Andreea said, "I was going through and I was just going out of curiosity and then I came across Cage." Both Andreea and Cage saw each other's picture. 

She claimed, "I read his info. I ended up writing him because I wanted to know more about him as a person." On the other hand, Cage not only fell for Andreea's beauty but he was also mesmerized by her smartness and intelligence.

The couple recounted seeing each other for the first. Andreea said, "We ran into each other and we were kissing through the glass. It felt so natural like I've never felt in my life."

Will Andreea marry Cage?

Andreea has made up her mind to marry Cage. She revealed it to her parents. Even though the family did not seem to be fully satisfied with their daughter's decision, they went ahead with her decision as they didn't have any other choice.

Andreea says, "We already feel like we've been married for a long time but we just want to make it official."

A fan wondered, "Why are Andrea’s parents pacifying her about marrying a felon serving 50 years. These women and their families are giving power to a felon."

Another claimed, "Andrea’s poor daddy is crying his eyes out cause his daughter is a dummy marrying a man in jail for 50 years."
