LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA: Theresa Nist has a second shot at love. Theresa's bridal gown for 'The Golden Wedding' has piqued the interest of 'The Golden Bachelor' viewers more than ever.
Fans of 'The Golden Bachelor' witnessed Theresa and Gerry fall in love and get engaged on the Season 1 finale. As Gerry went down on one knee, Theresa looked magnificent in her sequin silver and lavender gown.
Designer Randi Rahm offered stylist Cary Fetman a selection of about 15 gowns (one of which cost $60,000) that she believed would be suitable fits for Theresa and Leslie Fhima, and they both astonished him with their choices.
Theresa chose a sequin gown that was both beautiful and sensuous. Theresa's dress has a provocative slit, sequins, a plunging neckline, and washed texture, and it's in Randi's collection.

Theresa is receiving a second shot at love, but she is still grieving the loss of her late husband, William "Bill" Nist.
"Billy and I met when I was 14 and he was 16. We got married at 18 and 20," Theresa wrote in one of her Instagram postings, which also contained adorable flashback images of her and Bill.
"Billy passed away nine years ago today. Remembering my late husband and remembering all the veterans who served our country so that we could be free, not to do whatever we please, but to do the right thing," she continued.

Before being named the fiancée-to-be of 'The Golden Bachelor' Gerry, Theresa uploaded an Instagram photo commemorating the ninth anniversary of Bill's passing. On November 11, a photo of a young Theresa and Bill walking down the aisle on their wedding day was shared.
Her wedding gown included historical elements like puffed long sleeves and a high neckline. She also wore a lovely veil with lace floral appliqués that lay on top of the headpiece and wrapped around her long hair.
She is holding Billy, who is dressed in a white tuxedo jacket, classic black slacks, a black bow tie, and conventional dress shoes.

According to her brother, Vinny Galanti, Theresa's close-knit Italian family will come out to California on January 2 and remain until January 7.
"We're happy. My whole family is going. Everyone's getting flown. So all expenses paid - airfare and hotels," Vinny said to The US Sun.
"A lot of my family members have never experienced any of this stuff before. I've traveled a lot in my career for bodybuilding, and I'm used to it, so it's going to be pretty cool just to see their faces on how they're going to get treated."
Theresa's direct family consists of her brother, two sisters, Mary and Charlotte, as well as her son Tommy, and daughter Jen.
She also has six grandchildren, three of whom were able to attend the local dates. Vinny also mentioned that several of their friends and family from her late husband Billy's side will be attending the wedding.
Aside from the family being taken on a "vacation," according to Theresa's brother, everyone is "100 percent" fine with the rapid engagement.
