LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matt Altman, an American real estate agent and screenwriter with an impressive net worth of $25 million, is best known for being the brother of 'Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles' star Josh Altman.

In a recent episode of the Bravo show, the Altman brothers were challenged to sell a $17 million mansion within 30 days. This property had been sold to a couple, Joe and Irina, about two years earlier.

The home was furnished with luxurious custom-made pieces, including a $21,000 sofa set, a $48,000 dining room table, an $85,000 wine locker, and a $93,000 bed frame adorned with $9,400 Versace bedding.

As the episode progressed, Josh and Matt informed Irina that the market had shifted since she originally purchased the $17 million Chalette property in Trousdale Estates. Although Irina was not pleased with the news, she agreed to sell the home for the price she initially paid, plus the cost of the custom furniture.

The Altman brothers chose to separate the cost of the furniture from the home's price to help the buyer avoid higher taxes. After appraising the furniture at one million dollars, Matt persuaded Irina to reduce the home's asking price to $16.995 million to expedite the sale.

'MDLLA' Season 15 star Josh Altman calls Joe and Irina his 'longtime clients'

During the fifth episode of 'Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles' Season 15, Josh discussed the stunning residence with his loyal client, Irina, and her spouse, Joe. "I've known Joe and Irina for over a decade. I originally met them in Chicago. Joe is the number one Rolls-Royce salesperson on the planet, and his wife, Irina, started a clothing company that has absolutely blown up," Josh shared in a confessional.

Josh was not only familiar with his clients but also had a deep knowledge of their residence. "I sold this house almost two years ago to them, not even, to get away from the Chicago winters," he revealed.

Irina explained their decision to move quickly by noting that they initially thought they would spend more time in their current home. However, they’ve found that they’re hardly ever there.

'MDLLA' Season 15: Matt Altman's brother Josh Altman dubs Trousdale 'gem of Beverly Hills proper'

In the episode, Josh Altman detailed what makes the Trousdale neighborhood stand out. He highlighted the unique qualities and characteristics that distinguish it from other areas, emphasizing its special appeal and significance

"Trousdale is the gem of Beverly Hills proper. It is one of the top 10 communities in the entire country when it comes to price. The average price is over $11 million," Josh said. However, since the couple is looking to sell the home shortly after purchasing it, they may face a financial disadvantage and could potentially incur a loss in the process.

Taking into consideration what was discussed, Josh, Matt Altman, and Irina came to a mutual agreement to put the property on the market for $16,995,000, slightly below the initial purchase price of $17,000,000 set by Irina and Joe.

"30 days to sell a house in Trousdale, it's not impossible. Can I do it? Yeah, I can do it. They're just going to have to really entertain any deal I put in front of them," Josh added.
