What is Katie Ginella's net worth? 'RHOC' Season 18 newbie is on a quest to find her mother
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Gina Kirschenheiter's friend Katie Ginella, a housewife and former golf reporter, is new to the group this season and quickly inserts herself and her thoughts. Although the actual net worth of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' rookie Katie is unknown, you may now discover a little bit more about her personal and professional life.
Katie is more than simply a gorgeous newcomer to Real Housewives. In fact, we recently discovered through an old interview with A.PUTNAM that Katie started out as a journalist, but eventually ended up working for Back 9 Network as a travel reporter.
Although this network is no longer in operation, Katie worked here and covered a variety of subjects, including travel, college golf, and lifestyle. You have to appreciate Katie for standing up for women-owned companies these days.
Grounded in the world of golf and endowed with a knack for brand promotion, Katie was a journalist whose career began in radio. She later joined the Back 9 Network as a travel reporter, covering collegiate golf, lifestyle, and travel.
She is a powerful supporter of women-owned small companies and demonstrates to us how to successfully balance a good job with a family.
'RHOC' newbie Katie Ginella was adopted from South Korea by a Catholic family in Georgia
Gina's buddy Katie, a housewife and former golf reporter, is new to the group this season and quickly inserts herself and her thoughts into the group. Katie is a busy mother of four, aged six to nineteen, who was adopted into a Catholic family in Georgia after being born in South Korea.
Katie is a transracial adoptee who was raised in Georgia but was born in South Korea. She discusses her struggles as a child dealing with not being exposed to her lineage in an adoption podcast that she does online.
Her quest for her biological mother is mentioned in her Bravo bio as part of her plot. Katie also experienced a difficult divorce from her previous marriage and became pregnant with her first child while still an adolescent.
It was while working as a sports/golf reporter that she met her present spouse.
Who is 'RHOC' newbie Katie Ginella married to?
Katie is presently married to Matt Ginella. His Instagram bio says, "digital creator."
Matt does, however, identify as "CEO of Fire Pit Collective, a production company" and "Host of Fire Pit Podcast." Matt is also an Editor-at-Large and travel expert for the Golf Channel; however, this is not mentioned in his bio.
This suggests he probably travels a lot.
Katie's last marriage to Andrew did not go well. Andrew is the father of Katie's three eldest children: Kaili (2004), Gavin (2006), and Maxon (2009).
In a rather terrible 2018 legal document, it was said that Andrew hit Gavin "in the chest," and gave Max a peanut to "test" whether he was indeed allergic (spoiler warning, according to the file, he was), and that he also "turned Kaili's room into an Xbox room" after she moved in with Katie.
'RHOC' newbie Katie Ginella made her television debut with 'Say Yes to the Dress'
Katie and Matt married in 2015; however, her segment of 'Say Yes to the Dress' aired in 2017. Katie told Southern Bride a lot about her videotaped trip to the altar.
"Six months into dating Matt, he was at Big Cedar Lodge covering a work event; for The Golf Channel, featuring the best destinations and golf courses. He called me from The Chapel of the Ozarks at Top of the Rock and said, 'If we ever get married, it has to be here,'” Katie started.
Why did Katie Ginella want to quit 'RHOC'?
While living in Orange County may be enjoyable, not everyone is cut out to be a stay-at-home mom. According to Radar Online, Katie, the newest cast member of 'RHOC', didn't think much of some of the ladies during her first season, and she even told pals she wanted to "quit" midway through production.
According to a person close to the women, Katie was particularly uncomfortable with Heather "Fancy Pants" Dubrow and Emily Simpson. Georgian mother-of-four Katie reportedly admitted to friends that she "hates" Heather and thinks Emily is "two-faced."
Rumor has it that Katie also stated that Emily is "fake AF" and "completely different to her off-camera." But production-related sources refuted the claims, saying they were untrue.
It is unclear whether her rumored feud with Emily will play out on the program, given the teaser depicts her battling passionately with Heather.
Season 18 of 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' will begin with a 75-minute supersized episode on Thursday, July 11 at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes will be available for viewing the following day on Peacock.
