John Stamos may be best known to us as Uncle Jesse from 'Full House, a role that went onto ensure that Stamos' coffers also ran pretty full for years to come. But while Stamos might have shot into a different league of fame with 'Full House', to his credit he managed to keep the momentum and the moolah going for decades after the hit show. 

Stamos has appeared on numerous television shows since the finale of 'Full House' including 'ER' and 'Grandfathered' and who could forget his guest role on 'Friends' as Monica and Chandler check him out as a potential donor. Besides Stamos' acting career, he is also an accomplished musician. Stamos started learning the drums when he was four, began playing the guitar, and started his own band called Destiny. His musical background has no doubt helped Stamos in his career as a Broadway star as well. Stamos played the role of Albert in the Broadway revival of 'Bye Bye Birdie' and played Senator Cantwell in a Broadway revival of Gore Vidal's play 'The Best Man'. Stamos a huge fan of 'The Beach Boys' has also performed with the band on stage. In 1988, he appeared in their video 'Kokomo' in which he played both the conga drums and the steel drums. 

Besides acting and music, Stamos is also a successful producer and was the executive producer on 'Fuller House' in which he reprised the role of Uncles Jesse. According to reports, John Stamos is worth $25 million. Stamos' fortune comes from several avenues including acting, directing producing and brand endorsement deals. 

Awards

Stamos was awarded 'Best Young Actor in Daytime Soap' for 'General Hospital' in 1983. Stamos was honored with a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009 and was the winner of The People's Choice Award in 2016 for 'Grandfathered' in the category, Favorite Actor in a New TV Series. Stamos has also been nominated for Primetime Emmys twice. Once for Outstanding Miniseries for 'The Beach Boys: An American Family (2000)' shared with executive producers Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Jeff Bleckner and John Whitman and once for Outstanding Children's Program with 'Fuller House' shared with the other executive producers of the show in 2016.

Real estate, cars, jewellery

John Stamos purchased a 4000 square foot home in Beverly Hills shortly after his divorce from Rebecca Romijn in 2005. He listed this home for sale in May 2019 for $6.75 million. Within a few months, he lowered the price to $5.7 million, then lowered it again in May 2020 to $4.495 million. In August 2019, he purchased a home in a gated community in Hidden Hills, California, for $5.75 million.

Stamos is a big fan of electric cars and drives a Tesla Model S, a saloon car with a top speed of 150mph and a battery range of up to 390 miles. 

Stamos is married to Caitlin McHugh who is estimated to have a net worth of $1.5 million. The couple is parents to one child Billy Stamos.
