UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Season 23 of NBC marks the last for Blake Shelton. The country singer left fans sobbing with the announcement of his exit from the NBC show. However, the country singer took the last spin with his fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson, Chance The Rapper and Niall Horan.

Viewers would be wondering about what happens to Blake’s ‘red chair’ after he quits 'The Voice'. Blake has previously revealed on the show that he owes the 'red chair' and the only thing that he really wants to take is his chair. Notably, Blake has spent around 12 years on the show and the chair holds multiple memories of his ups and downs on the NBC show.

Blake is all set to step away from his red chair after being on the show since its premiere in 2011. 'The Voice' 2023 finale episode is walked down memory lane of Blake's best and most emotional moments. Blake has won the NBC singing competition more times than any other coach. Furthermore, the OG coach has formed friendships with his fellow coaches such as Adam, and he even met his wife, Gwen Stefani. 'The Voice', especially its red chair, holds several heart-touching memories for Blake. However, during the finale episode, host Carson revealed what will happen to Blake's spinning red chair. Gwen was then shown in a video clip with Blake's chair being delivered to their house. Blake appeared to be elated and said, "I finally won something on this show for myself!"

Will Reba McEntire replace Blake Shelton?

McEntire is all set to join the panel of coaches for the first time ever next season. During a moment in the NBC singing competition show on May 15, McEntire comfortably sat in Blake Shelton's designated seat. However, host Carson took a moment to acknowledge McEntire sitting there, to which the live audience went wild with applause and cheers. Carson said, "If you don't know, now you know. Reba is going to be in this chair next season on 'The Voice': It's official." However, when Carson asked what she was looking forward to after joining the show full-time, McEntire responded, "I'm looking forward to being here with all of y'all." She added, "You've treated me so nicely. I appreciate the hospitality so much that you showed me earlier. And to be able to come in and form my team, I'm so looking forward to it."
