VANCOUVER, CANADA: 'Prison Brides' star Emma Bradford, originally from London, England, is a postal worker. The 33-year-old has been in a relationship with her US inmate beau Curtis Bradford for more than two years.

During her appearance on the 'Tamron Hall Show', Emma talked about meeting Curtis and falling in love. When asked why she wanted to be a part of 'Prison Brides', she replied, "I wanted to show that he's actually a real person and he'll be in the society amongst all of you guys one day."

Referring to Curtis as an "incredible human," Emma noted how he couldn't read or write when he went to prison but now has a Master's degree in Business.

She added, "I'm extremely proud of the man, that man is incredible, he's intelligent, he's loving, he's kind, he's patient, he's everything," showering praises on Curtis.

Soon after a clip from Emma's interview was posted on the official Instagram page for 'Tamron Hall Show', people started slamming her for idealizing the life of being in love with an inmate.

One commented, "Stop glamorizing this life style! Stop giving it a platform."

Another said, "Girl bye... It's all about the ratings and money you, will bank," while a person added, "I know quite a few educated criminals. I'm not saying he's one of them but I can't day he isn't either. Oan...we've all seen Love After Lockdown and I have yet to see an inmate couple be happily married."

How did 'Prison Brides' star Emma Bradford meet Curtis Bradford?

Emma revealed she developed an interest in inmates while watching the Netflix documentary '60 Days In', noticing that a woman had met her husband through the "Write A Prisoner" website.

She was especially keen on knowing more about how the prison system worked in America, and the reality TV star noted, "Prison in America is a lot different from England."

Emma opened the site out of curiosity and found out about Curtis. At first, she just wanted to ask him some questions because she knew if he had committed the same crime in England, he wouldn't have been in jail for seven years.

Notably, Curtis has a long criminal history and has previously faced charges related to prostitution, as per Starcasm. He met Emma while serving a seven-year sentence for his involvement in a carjacking and the possession of a firearm.

Are 'Prison Brides' couple Emma Bradford and Curtis Bradford still together?

'Prison Brides' couple Emma and Curtis seem to be together. However, there is no proof of their relationship on social media.

Emma recently appeared on the 'Tamron Hall Show', where she was seen talking nice about Curtis, hinting that their relationship might be working out after all.

New episodes of 'Prison Brides' air every Wednesday at 9.30 pm ET on Lifetime.
