MAMANUCA ISLAND, FIJI: 'Survivor' is all set to return on CBS for season 43 with 18 new faces who will compete for their lives and become the sole survivor. Longtime host Jeff Probst is also set to return for a highly anticipated season. Every new season brings exciting new challenges, hurdles, and lots of entertainment. 'Survivor' season 44 was renewed back in 2022 and started on the Mamanuca Islands, Fiji. The upcoming season will feature 26 days of gameplay, and eighteen contestants will be competing against one another in three initial tribes- Ratu, Soka, and Tika.

'Survivor' has been airing since 2000 and has been a hit among viewers. In 'Survivor' season 43, Mike Gabler unexpectedly bagged the Sole Survivor title, soon after that, the network unveiled the next group of castaways ready to stake their lives on Fiji's Mamanuca Islands to win $1 million. 'Survivor' season 44 is all set to premiere on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 8 pm ET/PT on CBS.

Yam Yam is a salon owner who hails from Puerto Rico. The 36-year-old survivor is fun, loud, and a beach lover. He has dreamed of appearing on 'Survivor' since he was a teenager. His biggest inspiration is his mother, Sandra.

Kane Fritzler

Kane is a 25-year-old law student from Canada whose main goal is to become the 'Sole Survivor'.

Jaime Lynn Ruiz

The 35-year-old Jaime hails from Mesa, Arizona. She left ten years of corporate work behind to win the Sole Survivor title.

Bruce Perreault

Bruce is an insurance agent from Rhode Island. He is already a big fan of 'Survivor' and is ready to make his appearance on the show.

Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt

Heidi is an engineering manager who is all set to play for 'people who may sound different and look different.' She is a mother of two who initially struggled when she moved to the United States but has become a successful woman now.

Carson Garrett

Carson is a 20-year-old NASA engineering student who is hoping that his age works in his favor. Carson's game plan is simple, 'Be Mission Control'.

Helen Li

Helen is a product manager who sees herself as Erika Casupanan, the first woman to win 'Survivor'. Helen hopes to repeat the history of the woman who 'changed history' and take home the win. 

Danny Massay 

Danny is an NYC firefighter who is purposely going into the social game with no plan to prepare for the unknown.

Frannie Marin

The 23-year-old research coordinator from Boston enters the game with 'a lot of gumption'. Frannie says that she loves when 'a million things are going on at once' because she can take it all in and 'make the right decision.'

Brandon Cotton

This security specialist and former football player considers himself a jack of all trades and hopes to bring positivity to his tribe.

Claire Rafson

Claire is a tech investor who joins the tribe with a plan to use the lessons from her everyday life to win the game.

Matt Blankinship

The 27-year-old security software engineer and self-proclaimed nerd dubbed his plan for going into the game as 'to cause mayhem or steal information.' Matt, who hails from San Francisco, feels his position as a cyber-security expert has prepared him for 'Survivor.'

Carolyn Wiger

Carolyn, a drug counselor from Hugo, Minnesota, believes her past experiences will prepare her for the social game. She has been sober for 13 years and uses her experiences with addiction to help others. She has been inspired by the Season 42 winner, Maryanne Oketch.

Lauren Harpe

Lauren, a 31-year-old elementary school teacher from Mont Belvieu, Texas, has entered the game as a part of her post-divorce self-growth journey. The single mom has studied the new era of the game and hopes all her research will help her win the Sole Survivor title.

Matthew Grinstead-Mayle

Matthew is a business owner who lives with his husband, Dale, and their 4-year-old son. He owns a barbershop, Goodfellow’s Tonsorial Parlor, in the Brewery District. Matthew will play the social game to outwit, outplay, and outlast his opponents.

Sarah Wade

Sarah, a management consultant, is playing with the hope that her recent loss might fuel her in the game. Sarah recently tragically lost her best friend, allowing her to pursue her dreams and seize opportunities that her late friend could not.

Josh Wilder

Josh is a surgical podiatrist from Atlanta. He hopes that his physicality will help him become the ultimate winner.

Maddy Pomilla

Maddy, the 28-year-old from Brooklyn, recently said goodbye to her corporate job to play the social game. She is a self-proclaimed 'adventure addict' who hopes to win the whopping prize with her unconventional strategy.

Like the previous season, viewers will see 18 contestants surviving on an island in 'Survivor' Season 44. The new season will continue for over 26 days on Mamanuca Island, Fiji. However, only one contestant from the 18 castaways who survives till the end will be titled the 'sole survivor' and win the whopping prize money worth $1 million.
