'WandaVision' has dished out some prize Easter Eggs since the pilot episode and the latest 30-minute action-packed episode paid a fitting tribute to two of MCU's greatest characters - Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlet Johannson) and Samuel Jackson's Nick Fury. In what came as a fun reference, the episode which had Halloween as the main theme saw Pietro and Wanda dress up as Nat and Fury respectively during Halloween.

One of the scenes in the episode sees Pietro (Evan Peters) and Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) relive their childhood memories of how they celebrated Halloween in Sokovia. The clip sees Wanda dress up as Nat with red hair and blonde streaks while Pietro was seen wearing an eye patch just like Fury. Except, they were treated to raw fish instead of candy. Guess Sokovians have their share of humor as well.

That said, the scene not just pays a tribute to the two characters, but also shows how these kids idolized the Avengers. There is still that unexplained logic of how they like Nat and Fury, considering they hated Tony Stark and held him accountable for killing their parents. But we assume, this might be before the death of their parents.

'WandaVision' Episode 6 Spoilers: Will Monica Rambeau become MCU's first mutant Spectrum later in the series?

SPECIAL REPORT | 'WandaVision' helped Marvel throw down the gauntlet, and it may just be too heavy for DC

For now, there are no other OG Avengers from the MCU who have been referenced. There is no mention of Steve Rogers or Tony Stark in the series just yet although the Red and gold chopper in the second episode had fans guessing there was an ode to the late avenger. Captain Marvel has been name-dropped quite a few times,  but it is unlikely we will see her in the series. It does appear all isn't well between Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Carol as the expression on the former's face when Captain Marvel is mentioned actually says a lot. While we don't exactly know what went down between the two, it does appear Maria Rambeau's (Lashana Lynch) death may hold some connection.

'WandaVision' Episode 6 is available for streaming on Disney+.
