‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 31 is set to release soon and it looks like there have been shuffles in the format of the show. Moreover, this time there will be themed episodes in the show. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ executive producer Conrad Green recently revealed what these themed episodes will be dedicated to. Keep reading to know.
One of the longest-running shows in television history, ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will bring sixteen pairs of celebs and pros. They will together compete against challenges, eliminations, and redemptions. The competition will wrap up in the course of 11 weeks. And, the fun element of the new season is that it will be performed live in front of the audience. In Season 31, Tyra Banks returns as the show's host along with Alfonso Ribeiro.
Green reveals Elvis Presley-themed episode ahead
One of the episodes of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 31 will be dedicated to the music of Elvis Presley. Conrad, in an interview with EW, spills the information. Green reveals that Elvis’s themed episode will be covered in week 2 of the show. Green quotes, ‘We have got full access to all of the Elvis catalogue’. This episode will surely bring nostalgia and recreate some of the memorable moments of Elvis.
Conrad confirms Michael Buble will be giving a whole night of his music
Apart from Elvis theme episode, Green also revealed that one of the episodes will be based on Michael Buble. Michael was seen performing on the show years ago, and he is coming back to give a big hit. Conrad says that Michael is a good friend of Derek. And, that friendship has finally dragged him back to show. Moreover, the star will be giving a ‘whole night of his music and judge along’.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ is getting its audience back this season. With Season 31 having no commercials, it will be hard for the hosts to keep a balance with the pace. However, one of the reasons for bringing Ribeiro as the co-host is so that he could help performers buy some time. His task on the show will be to interview the contestants. Green claims that Banks and Ribeiro have lots of chemistry. Green adds about Ribeiro that, ‘he’ll bring a warmth and human interest’ to the show.
‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 31 is scheduled to release on September 19 at 8/7c on Disney+
