NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The 'Real Housewives of New York City' star Leah McSweeney just dropped an update on her sobriety on social media. The star documents the best part of being sober and clean. Leah dedicates her healthy lifestyle and sobriety to her daughter, who is the clear cause for both of them.
Leah claims, "The best part about being sober, not the easiest part, but the best part, besides from the obvious is my daughter does not have a drugged or f****d up mother." 'RHONY' star says that now that she has quit drinking she can differentiate between what's good for her and what's not. She further talked about more benefits of her leading a healthy and clean life. Leah says, "I can now differentiate what serves me and what doesn't." Leah continues by saying that if she finds herself in a circumstance, relationship, job setting, or other similar circumstance that does not seem right, her soul immediately begins to stir and starts giving her cues that this is not good for her. "I actually get physically sick and I can feel it" describes Leah about the situation which is toxic or not good for her. Furthermore, she talks about other benefits of leading a clean life.
Health benefit was another thing that Leah gained ever since she started being sober. Even though health benefit is a top priority, Leah claims that "soul benefit for me is the best." However, soul benefit has not been the easy one for Leah.
Leah McSweeney shares 'weird' experience with fans
Leah further captioned the video where she talked about the thing that has recently been happening in her life. She writes, "The last few days I kept having this weird thing where it felt like I couldn’t take deep breaths of air." However, this was not something new to Leah. She has dealt with the same thing before. The star claims, "It was s****y but something I had dealt with before. My anxiety was kicking up and manifesting through my breathing." Finally, Leah now stopped ignoring her health issues. "Today I finally stopped ignoring it and thought about where I was putting my energy. Not where I should be! Acknowledged it, made some adjustments, and boom…breathing normally again. For now! Being sober is trippy af and also the best," wrote the star.
Fans appreciated Leah for openly talking about her sobriety issues. 'RHONY' Season 14 will release in 2023.
