'Under the Bridge' Episode 4 delved into Reena's past life, exploring her history and experiences long before her death. Episode 5 focuses on the events leading up to Reena's tragic death

Police intensify efforts to find Reena Virk's murderer in Episode 5

In 'Under the Bridge' Episode 5, the police, especially Cam Bentland (Lily Gladstone), dramatically escalate their efforts to apprehend Reena's murderer.

Cam also informs the media of her suspicion that Reena's friends were involved in the crime. The media news wreaks havoc as the public grapples with the shocking revelation, stirring up intense speculation and scrutiny surrounding Reena's inner circle.

The police additionally visited Reena's school to engage with students and collect evidence. This investigation aims to uncover potential witnesses or individuals who might possess information regarding the events leading up to Reena's murder.

They discover a drawing by Kelly Ellard (Izzy G) depicting the act of hitting and burning the forehead of a girl, bearing an eerie resemblance to the injuries observed on Reena's body.

In 'Under the Bridge' Episode 5, Kelly finally confesses to Josephine Bell (Chloe Guidry) about her role in the tragic death of Reena.

Kelly admits to her friends, Josephine and Dusty Pace (Aiyana Goodfellow), that she murdered Reena for Josephine. Kelly confesses that after hitting Reena multiple times, she put her leg on Reena's neck, smoked a cigarette, and watched her die.

Later, Josephine insists on keeping Kelly's actions a secret because they are family. However, Dusty is deeply impacted by Kelly's revelation. She struggles to accept the truth that Kelly killed Reena. 

Meanwhile, Warren Glowatski (Javon Walton) confesses to Rebecca Godfrey (Riley Keough) that he was present when Kelly murdered Reena.

Warren reveals that Kelly hit Reena multiple times and instructed her to take off her shoes before killing her. Warren struggles with the weight of his involvement, overwhelmed by remorse and guilt, in aiding Kelly in her crime.

As the episode progresses, Dusty's emotions overwhelm her, causing her to lose control and lash out, striking Kelly's nose. Overwhelmed by sadness, Dusty feels compelled to leave Seven Oaks as she finds herself unable to bear the pain any longer.

In the last scene, Kelly and Josephine ask Dusty to accompany them to Mexico.
