Perhaps one of the biggest attractions of Tyler Perry's 'Assisted Living' was the return of iconic 'House of Payne' characters Mr Brown (Mr Brown) and his daughter, Cora (Tamela  Mann). Sadly, all we got of them was the pilot of parts of the second episode, and no mention at all in last week's Episodes 3 and 4. This left fans and critics on social media beyond angry; they were livid after being deprived of what they called was the only redeeming thing about the show. Looks like hope is in the horizon for those fans as the upcoming Episode 6 surely does hint at the return of the two legendary characters.

The previous episodes, although lacking in Mr Brown and Cora department, relied heavily on tensions within the family. While Jeremy's kids started pressing him and Leah for answers about the duration of their stay in Georgia and just why he needed to leave the job, Jeremy himself was dealing with disagreements no the Grandpa Vinny front. From trying to convince the grumpy old man to renovate their new business venture to get him to stop growing weed in the backyard, the struggle has been real. On top of that, Grandpa Vinny also had a minor incident that blew things out of proportion and the police had to intervene. So when Episode 'The Cleanup' teases, "Leah tries to convince Jeremy to reach out to Mr Brown for help," it doesn't come as a surprise.

With the utter mismanagement getting so out of hand, it makes sense why Leah would advise Jeremy to seek out Mr Brown. Apart from the fact that they are in the same age group, if there's one person who can contest Jeremy's "grumpa", it's Mr Brown. The two are constantly fighting it out, going back and forth roasting each other to the point where they run out of mean things to say some times. The family might be tired of it, but we are not.

The tension and hilarious rivalry between Vinny and Brown won audiences over at the get-go and is also the prime reason why fans think the plot isn't what it could be without the two characters. Who knows, in the course of roasting, Mr Brown might actually be able to convince Grandpa Vinny to stop acting like a child and dress him down hard enough to take into consideration Jeremy's inputs and actually do something that would profit their joint business. If nothing, it will make for hearty comedy so viewers can loo forward to that at least!

'Tyler Perry's Assisted Living' airs on Wednesdays at 8/9c only on BET.
