TXT becomes only Korean act to debut three albums on Billboard 200 in 2021
It cannot get more ironic than this and it proves that karma really does exist as TXT has become the only K-pop act of 2021 to debut on the Billboard 200 chart with three of their albums released in last year. The year 2021 has been amazing for the five-member fourth-gen group from HYBE which led fans to wonder why the group was treated shabbily by Mnet. At the 2021 MAMA that was held on December 11, MOAs (the TXT fandom) noticed how TXT members were ignored again and again while the group did extremely well on the charts.
First, member Yeonjun’s face was missing from the cover of the collab stage performed by boys of the fourth-gen groups; TXT’s leader Soobin’s speech was cut off midway; TXT also lost a major chunk of well-deserved awards making fans question the relevance of the award show considering the group was doing so well in their overall careers.
And now the news of TXT being the only Korean act to have three albums debuting on Billboard 200 in the year 2021 is proof that winning awards does not matter because the boys are making records for themselves instead.

TXT debuts three albums on BB200
On December 13, Billboard released the chart for their main chart, Billboard 200, which saw the debut of TXT’s recently released Japanese mini-album, ‘Chaotic Wonderland’. The album debuted at Number 177 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart and was ranked amongst the 200 most popular albums of the week in the United States. With this charting, TXT has now become the only Korean artist to chart three new albums on the Billboard 200 in the last year.
In 2021 itself, TXT entered the chart with their other Japanese album, ‘Still Dreaming’, as well as their second full-length album, ‘The Chaos Chapter: Freeze’ that released in May this year which charted for 13 weeks on Billboard 200, making it the groups longest-charting album on Billboard 200.

Not only that, TXT also entered four other Billboard charts this week with ‘Chaotic Wonderland’ as they charted at Number 4 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart, Billboard’s Top Current Album Sales chart at Number 19, Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart at Number 24; also the group ranked at Number 87 on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart this week.
TXT sets new records with ‘Chaotic Wonderland’
With their charting of ‘Chaotic Wonderland’, TXT has become the first Korean act to have two of their different Japanese albums on the same chart in under a year. Their first Japanese mini-album, ‘Still Dreaming’, was released in January of 2021 while ‘Chaotic Wonderland’ was released in November 2021. Only 11 months apart, TXT has successfully charted both their Japanese albums.
TXT has also become the K-pop act to have five different chart entries in the last three years of their musical career. TXT made their debut on Billboard 200 with their 2019 mini-album, ‘The Dream Chapter: Star’, and then followed that with their mini-album, ‘Minisode1: Blue Hour’, that was released in 2020, followed by the three new 2021 albums that charted on Billboard 200 this year.
