SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: 'Troppo' Season 2, streaming on Prime Video, revolves around Private Detective Amanda Pharrell (Nicole Chamoun) investigating the murder of Family Tree retreat owner Julian Naughton.

When her partner Ted Conkaffey (Thomas Jane) spots someone driving the dead man's Jaguar in Episode 2, Amanda decides to follow the lead.

Amanda pays a visit to the mechanic who used to handle Julian's car. The missed payments from Julian's end make Amanda suspicious that the mechanic was involved in the murder.

She puts a tracker on his truck and follows him to a farmland where she finds Julian's car parked and covered.

Amanda soon finds herself amid the poaching camp from where it isn't easy to get out alive. Luckily, Ted arrives in time to rescue her.

Meanwhile, the mechanic flees in a stolen Jaguar but is spotted by Detective Pip Sweeney (Zindzi Okenyo). The mechanic then leads the cops to the poachers, resulting in their arrest.

Up until now, it was believed that if the detectives could locate the stolen car, they would find Julian's killer. But turns out that they were wrong as Julian's car theft and murder were two unrelated incidents.

The mechanic and his associates have been arrested for stealing and poaching, but it's unlikely that they have murdered the man.

This means that we'll have to wait a little longer to learn about the real culprit and his intentions behind the brutal crime.

'Troppo' Season 2 is available to stream on Prime Video.
