Plot

The series, which began with the story of Maura, will return for one final season without her and fans have been quite restless in knowing how the story will move forward. The season would work as a feature-length movie titled 'Transparent: Musicale Finale' to wrap up all the storylines.  A teaser trailer has been released, which shows that Maura has died, and her family is moving on post the tragedy. From the reaction to the trailer, fans seem happy enough with a Maura-less ‘Transparent.’ Not only are they happy that Tambor was removed from the show as quickly as he was, but they also believe that Maura’s storyline is the most boring.

However, the Pfeffermans are not dealing well with the death of Maura. While each of them tries to come to terms with the loss, they turn to music for solace.
