Top reality TV moments of the week: From '1000-lb Sisters' explosive fight to Lauren Hollinger's 'The Bachelor' exit
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Reality TV has changed a lot in the last 20 years, and a lot of what was "acceptable" in the 1990s is a passe. Still, we are lucky to have times, for better or worse, that stand the test of time and serve as a reminder to coming generations of what true chaos looks like.
So, in no particular order, here are some of the most bizarre reality TV incidents captured on camera this week.
Lauren Hollinger bags fame after quitting 'The Bachelor' Season 28
'The Bachelor' Season 28 contestant, Lauren Hollinger, decided to self-eliminate in Episode 2, making her dramatic exit the standout moment of the week. Lauren claimed she left the show due to insecurities created by other competing women on the ABC dating show.
Before her departure, Joey Graziadei presented Lauren with a cake. Instead of enjoying the cake and appreciating Joey's efforts, Lauren threw it on the floor, asserting that it wasn't red velvet flavor.
However, she later apologized for her actions in a social media post, saying, "I could’ve handled things better, but I’m human. Please respect my privacy at this time, as I will be testing out all red velvet cakes in Philly until further notice."
After Lauren's departure from 'The Bachelor' Season 28, 18 women are vying for Joey's heart.
'1000-lb Sisters' stars Amy Slaton and Amanda Halterman's explosive fight
'1000-lb Sisters' Season 5 star Amy Slaton hit "rock bottom" as she struggled to take care of her sons, Gage and Glenn, alone. During the Slaton family's trip to Florida in Season 5, Episode 8, things got heated up between Tammy Slaton and Amy, who later imploded at Amanda Halterman.
Tammy tried to help Amy and asked about the whereabouts of the baby's bottles. Amy abruptly sprang up from the table and said that she was "done."
Tammy suggested to Amy that she persuade one of the kids to go to sleep. Amy lost all her cool and claimed that she wanted to return home.
Amy reached for the door, but Amanda came in between to stop her half-sibling. However, Amy was frustrated, and she pushed Amanda out of her way, and the TLC show production had to chime in between the siblings' feud.
Heidi Klum calls out 'AGT: Fantasy League' magician Anna Deguzman for being ‘rude’ to mentor Mel B
The sixth episode of 'America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League' raised the bar on the incredible level of skill with the first set of semi-finalists. But one moment stood out for all the wrong reasons, when Judge Heidi Klum chastised one of the hopefuls, magician Anna Deguzman, for being "rude" to her fellow panelist, Mel B.
In the end, the Season 18 runner-up delivered a genuine apology, but Heidi informed her, "That did not make me like you as much."
It all started when Anna approached Mel and Howie Mandel for assistance with her close-up skills on stage. Midway through the act, the Bergenfield, NJ, magician ordered Mel to choose between a $1 bill and a $100 bill.
When Mel strangely picked a $20 bill (which was not one of the alternatives), Anna giggled and said, "It's okay, you're pretty." The camera instantly turned to Heidi at the judges' table, who frowned and commented, "That's rude."
Anna later doubled down and exclaimed, "Wow, she can read!" as Mel read her the first digit of her bill's serial number. As the audience began booing, Anna could be heard saying, "I'm sorry, I'm just kidding."
At the end of the performance, Simon Cowell appeared to be on Anna's side, confessing that he was "not so sure" that Mel was the greatest assistant for the magic act.
Anna responded by saying, "I should have picked Heidi. No, I’m just kidding. You’re great."
When it was eventually Heidi’s time to speak, she remarked, “I don’t know if I loved it this much today, I have to be honest with you. It was a lot of talking, and also some of the talking you said, I also didn’t love so much. You know, what you said to Mel, that kind of hurt me a little bit. I really, really like you, and that did not make me like you so much."
When Anna exited the stage, Heidi turned to Mel and said, "I thought that was mean towards you," and Mel mentioned that she hadn't heard any of the statements in question.

Internet warns ‘Prison Brides’ star Jessica amid claims of inmate lover Craig’s return to ‘jail’
The internet was buzzing with rumors that Craig from ‘Prison Brides’ might soon leave Jessica, as he might have to leave for jail again. Critics claimed that his absence from home might have been too long for Craig to recognize his partner's transformed personality.
Moreover, it seemed like Craig's chances of returning to prison were pretty high, and this speculation only added fuel to the fire.
"Safe to say Craig's chances of going back to jail are pretty high #prisonbrides," said a user. "Craig might not be home long enough to feel anything about her being an entire different person let alone experience her new side," added another.
"The people say Craig back inside," said a third. Weird that Craig has had only 3 years of freedom since his teenage years...," a viewer noted. Others suggested Craig might be having issues settling with his new life considering he has spent all his life in prison.
"There is no way you can convince me that Craig is gonna be comfortable being married in the free world," a person said.
"Like he has spent almost all of his teen and adult life inside. I am shocked he is allowed to be a welder. Hope he can stick with it," someone noted.
"I hope Craig can stay free but I have my doubts after hearing his story," added another.
Craig's life has been far from ordinary. He was sent to prison at the tender age of one, and unfortunately, his fate remained the same throughout his childhood and teenage years.
He was convicted at the young age of 13 and has hardly enjoyed three years of freedom in his entire life.
