The former contestant also asked for some privacy amid her abrupt exit from ABC's dating show.
Lauren wrote, "Well that’s a wrap! I’m truly grateful to have had this opportunity and met all these wonderful people," referring to the contestants of the show.
Lauren then went on to apologize for the drama she created in the show by throwing the cake. She stated, "In hindsight, I could’ve handled things better but I’m human."
Furthermore, the star asked, "Please respect my privacy at this time as I will be testing out all red velvet cakes in Philly until further notice." Lauren ended her post by wishing good luck to Joey Graziadei.
She said, "Wishing Joey the best of luck in his journey….Now everyone go support my bestie @allisonhollinger."
Allison Hollinger seems happy after sister's exit
Lauren took to Instagram to apologize for her abrupt exit and ask for support for her sister Allison Hollinger who is still in the show.
However, it seems instead of feeling sad about her sister's exit, Allison is happy that there is no more competition between them.
Allison commented on Lauren's post, "Hate to see you go but love to watch you leave." It is further to be seen how far will Allison manage to go in the show.
Why did Lauren Hollinger leave 'The Bachelor' Season 28?
In Episode 2, Lauren announced leaving the show ahead of the rose ceremony. She was fed up with not being able to spend quality time with Joey.
Seeing other women in the show get one-on-one dates and group dates, Lauren was left jealous and insecure about her position in Joey's life and in the show as well.
Not getting a chance to have a proper conversation with Joey took a toll on Lauren. She was certain about being eliminated in the rose ceremony. Therefore, the star chose to walk out of the show ahead of the elimination.
Is 'The Bachelor' Season 28's former contestant Lauren Hollinger dating anyone now?
From Lauren's social media, it seems that she is not dating anyone. She has not posted any picture with a man, hinting at a romantic connection.
The registered nurse is a package of intelligence, attractiveness, and humorous attitude. Therefore, she wants a man in her life who supports her and her career.
Lauren is looking for someone who is "ambitious, witty, and who makes her feel comfortable."
'The Bachelor' Season 28 premieres on January 22, 2024, at 8 PM ET on ABC.
