'Top Boy' season 3: Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything you need to know about the British crime drama
'Top Boy' is a British crime drama television series that originally ran on Channel 4. The first season was broadcast in 2011 and the second season was broadcast in 2013 following the show's cancelation. Soon, rapper Drake began posting about the series on his social media, having loved its soundtrack and its characters. With Drake's interest in funding the filming for future episodes, Netflix picked up the show for its third season.
Release date
All ten episodes of Season 3 will release on Netflix on September 13, 2019.
Plot
'Top Boy' follows the lives of local drug dealers and friends, Dushane and Sully. While season one saw their rise in the business, season two is a continuation where Dushane and Sully have had a falling out. In season 3, Dushane will be seen returning to the Summerhouse estate after his exile to reclaim his position as the top drug leader while teaming up with Sully who has returned after his stint in prison. However, when they come back, they are confronted by Jamie, a young, hungry and ruthless man who makes it clear that Dushane and Sully no longer have a place in the Summerhouse estate drug business.

Kane Robinson
Kane Robinson, better known as Kano, is a British rapper and actor. He is known for his role in 'Top Boy'. He plays Sully on the series.
Michael Ward
Michael Ward is a British actor. His acting credits include 'The A List'. He plays new character Jamie on the third season of 'Top Boy'.
Rappers Dave and Little Simz have also joined the cast of the reboot as Modie and Shelley, respectively.
