The plot of CBS’s ‘Tommy’ is surely getting intense. But what takes all the attention in Episode 10 ‘Packing Heat’ is how Blake Sullivan (Adelaide Clemens) is trying to thwart a major threat. And fans are getting upset with her with every passing episode.

We all know by now that she and Mayor Buddy Gray (Thomas Sadoski) are in a secret relationship. Why it is a secret is no news; the mayor and his wife are yet to get divorced and Blake is the Head of Communications of the LAPD. Ergo, both have a lot at stake if the news of their affair comes to light. And now, with her getting blackmailed by a mysterious paparazzi/investigator, she cannot even imagine where this will go.

Fans think that it’s high time that Blake comes clean and seek the support of her boss, Tommy Thomas (Edie Falco). “There you go Blake, tell the Chief everything #Tommy #TommyCBS”.

“I knew this was coming, Blake.   You should have too.  #TommyCBS, added another. Other fans blamed her for even getting together with the Mayor in the first place.

When the Mayor points out and accuses Tommy of “professional impropriety” and points out at the paparazzi photos of her and her girlfriend, fans called him a “hypocrite” and remind Blake that “Nothing good could come from hooking up with him.  #TommyCBS” a fan said.

And to that, another viewer said: “Blake that was a threat and yes there are pictures of you and the Mayor. That's what happens when you spend the night in someone else's house #Tommy #TommyCBS."

Blake is known to be a smart woman who can handle every publicity crisis singlehandedly. Of all people, she should be the one to know about the optics best and how they can affect the reputation of public figures, including her own.

In the words of a fan, “She should be able to clock the optics better than anybody! And it took a mf that look like he from ‘Nam to get her attention. All for The “D.””

Will Blake and Buddy’s photo become public and if it does will she or even Tommy be able to stop the damages? Tell us what you think and join the conversation on the latest popular crime procedural.

‘Tommy’ airs every Thursday at 10pm/9c, only on CBS.
