BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: In her most recent documentary series titled 'Bet It All on Blonde', Erika Jayne delved into the intricacies of her arduous journey leading up to the inaugural night of her Las Vegas residency.

This docu-series not only encompassed her professional pursuits but also shed light depths on her personal life, offering insight into her upbringing, as well as her marriage with Tom Girardi. During a scene in the docu-series 'Bet It All on Blonde', Erika Jayne was seen relaxing at home with her beloved dog Tiago after a long day of rehearsals for her Las Vegas residency.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and to her surprise, a member of Tom's legal team stood on her doorstep late at night. The attorney identified himself as a part of Tom's legal team and wanted to discuss some matters with Erika.

However, Erika declined to engage in the conversation at that moment as it was pretty late, stating that she would need to consult with her own lawyer before providing any further information. Furthermore, the loyal viewers of the popular Bravo show have taken to various social media platforms to voice their strong discontent towards Tom's shocking decision of dispatching a lawyer to Erika's residence during the late hours of the night.

An X user said, "That is so creepy coming up to someone’s home late at night talking about “I’m with the legal team” 

Another user added, "She looked terrified."

Followed by a user who penned, "Tom having a public defender is CRAZY! "

A user went on to say, "Bruh! Tom Girardi has a public defender??? STOP playing."

Erika Jayne reveals why it was important for her to talk about Tom Girardi in 'Bet It All on Blonde'

Following the completion of the special, Erika Jayne engaged in a candid conversation with The Daily Dish, shedding light on her experience of baring her soul about her separation from her ex-husband, the renowned lawyer Tom Girardi, in front of the camera.

"Well, it was nice to actually be able to speak on my own, and not be questioned and not be in a format such as [The] Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It's a different look at my life, and what I do," Erika said.

In addition, she went on to elaborate about the contrasting nature of discussing Tom on her show 'Bet It All on Blonde' in comparison to her previous encounters on 'RHOBH.'

The Bravo star further added, "It was great, you know? It's nice to not have to be in a group setting, consistently answering questions that I cannot answer or being pushed into situations that I can't  satisfy everybody's curiosity. But, here, we get to see me speak in my home, and you may get a more intimate portrayal of who I am."

Why did Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi split?

In November 2020, Erika Jayne announced that she had decided to part ways with her husband of 21 years, Tom Girardi. “Erika and Tom had an unconventional marriage, spending a lot of time apart," a source close to the pair told Us Weekly. 

Erika, who is the mother of Tommy, her adult son from her previous marriage with Thomas Zizzo, first crossed paths with Tom in the late 1990s when she worked as a waitress at Chasen's, a popular West Hollywood establishment that happened to be one of his favorite spots.

It was a year after their initial encounter that Erika made the bold decision to share her phone number with Girardi and soon enough, he took the initiative to contact her through his secretary.

After dating for six months, Erika and Tom decided to take the next step in their relationship by getting engaged. They walked down the aisle and exchanged vows in a beautiful wedding ceremony in January 1999.

 During an episode of 'RHOBH' Season 13, Erika Jayne took a vulnerable moment to share her deepest financial anxieties with her fellow housewives. The group had gathered for a glamorous dinner at an upscale restaurant, providing the perfect backdrop for Erika to confide in her friends about the challenges she has faced since her highly publicized divorce from her former husband, Tom Girardi.

"Being married to Tom was great because you were comfortable. You didn't sweat the light bill; you weren't sweating all this kind of stuff," Erika said.

She further added, "Cut to now, I'm not out traveling. I'd love to say that I had taken a vacation. I'm not doing sh-t other than rebuilding my life. And it's scary, because as much as money comes in, as much money goes out."

In an interview on the episode, Erika said, "It's soul-crushing, literally soul-crushing. Because you think to yourself, 'How the f-ck am I ever gonna get out of this? How will I ever get above water? Will I ever own a home?'"
