'Titans' Season 2 Episode 11 may unleash Beast Boy's full potential by making him a guinea pig for Cadmus

In the comics, Gar's a shapeshifter who can turn into any animal he wants, even alien and extinct ones, but on 'Titans' we're yet to see Beast Boy turn into anything other than a big green tiger but that might soon be changing.

While most of the characters on 'Titans' are far more powerful on the show than they are in the comics, Beast Boy/Garfield Logan (Ryan Potter) still hasn't reached the level of power that we know he's capable of. In the comics, he's a shapeshifter who can turn into any animal he wants, even alien and extinct ones, but on 'Titans', we're yet to see Beast Boy turn into anything other than a big green tiger.

In fact, it appears Gar himself doesn't fully grasp the potential of his powers. However, that might soon change now that Gar, Krypto, and Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin) are being held under Cadmus custody.

The experimental serum that gave Gar his powers was fundamentally meant to save his life, not turn him into a weapon but Cadmus probably has more sinister things in mind for the young metahuman. Of course, we're not certain how Gar and Conner's imprisonment at Cadmus is going to play out. Hopefully, the other Titans realize that two of their teammates are missing in time to put together a rescue, though considering how all the Titans are busy with their own problems, that might take a while.

Looking at it from Cadmus' point of view, Gar is a scientific marvel and an opportunity they can't pass up. The evil scientists are bound to conduct experiments on him or try to synthesize his powers in some way and when they do, we might get to see the full extent of Gar's abilities unlocked, finally making him Beast Boy and not just Tiger Boy.

The cast for 'Titans' Season 2 includes Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Kory Anders/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Ryan Potter as Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy/Wonder Girl, Drew Van Acker as Garth/Aqualad, Chelsea Zhang as Rose Wilson/Ravager, Chella Man as Jericho Wilson, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy, Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne/Batman, and Esai Morales as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke the Terminator.

'Titans' Season 2 Episode 11 'E.L._.O.' will arrive on DC Universe on November 15.
