'Titans' Season 2 Episode 10: Dick Grayson's life is under threat in prison but Bruce Wayne is nowhere to be seen

'Titans' Season 2 has been hell for Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites). One by one, he's lost everyone and everything he loved and now he's cooling his heels in prison where his life is under constant threat.

As a former cop, Dick has a massive target on his back. In Episode 10 'Fallen' we already saw one gang try to get Dick killed and even though his would-be killer chose to spare his life, it doesn't look like Dick's particularly keen on survival himself. In the final moments of the episode, Dick has a clear chance to escape but he chooses to stay behind knowing he will have to face dire consequences. With all the guilt that he's carrying, it's not surprising that Dick has pretty much lost the will to live and he's basically just waiting for someone to take him out.

Which begs the question, what is Bruce Wayne (Iain Glen) doing while his son sits in prison? Bruce would no doubt have been alerted the minute Dick was charged and there ought to be massive media coverage of the fact that billionaire Bruce Wayne's eldest adopted son has been sentenced to seven years in jail so there's really no way he'd be unaware of Dick's arrest.

Even assuming Bruce just wants Dick to fight his own battles, there are other situations that very desperately need his attention that he has apparently chosen to ignore. In Episode 9, Conner Kent (Joshua Orpin) had a very public battle with the San Francisco Police Department, which immediately sent out a red flag to Conner's creators, Cadmus Laboratories.

There's no way the Justice League would just ignore a rogue Kryptonian blowing up police cars in San Francisco. It's already been established that the League or something similar to it exists in the 'Titans' universe so why are they not responding to the situation? These are questions that need to be answered soon unless the writers want to leave a huge gaping plot hole in the season's story.

'Titans' Season 2 Episode 11 'E.L._.O.' will arrive on DC Universe on November 15.
