'Titans' Season 2's Conner Kent needs some guidance and Titans may not be the best people to give it to him

As the clone of Superman and Lex Luthor, Conner is one of the single most powerful people on the planet but he is not yet ready to handle all the powers at his disposal.

Of all the heroes we have met so far on 'Titans', there's no one more powerful or more deadly than Joshua Orpin's Conner Kent/Superboy. As the clone of Superman and Lex Luthor, Conner is one of the single most powerful people on the planet but thanks to the fact that he's not fully mature yet, he's not ready to handle all the powers at his disposal.

In Episode 9, we saw this inexperience lead him right into a whole mess after a misguided attempt to "save" some criminals led to Superboy, starting a full-scale battle with the San Francisco Police Department. While his heart might be in the right place, Conner needs someone to guide him on his path to becoming a hero and teach him how the world works.

Right now, Gar Logan/Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) is the one stuck babysitting Conner and he is clearly out of his depth when it comes to handling the superpowered infant. In fact, none of the Titans are really equipped to give Conner the kind of guidance he needs.

The Titans are, for the most part, a bunch of very damaged individuals, all of whom have their own issues to handle. Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites) is having an existential crisis, Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft) is having an identity crisis, and with Hank Hall/Hawk (Alan Ritchson) and Dawn Granger/Dove (Minka Kelly), life itself is basically one huge never-ending crisis.

Even Kory Anders/Starfire (Anna Diop), who is easily the most level-headed of the Titans, is too busy dealing with her evil sister. The one person who could help him right now might be his mom, Dr. Eve Watson (Genevieve Angelson), but she's currently on the run from Lex Luthor and there's not much she can do while she's struggling to stay alive.

All things considered, perhaps what Conner needs more than anything is to meet his father, Superman, the one person who could give him the guidance he needs. This was Dick's plan for Conner all along, after all, and considering the colossal mess that Conner just created in the last episode, there's a fair chance the Man of Steel might already be on his way to San Francisco to meet him.

'Titans' Season 2 Episode 10 'Fallen' will arrive on DC Universe on November 8.
