In 2020, Netflix stunned the entire world when it dropped the true-crime documentary series ‘Tiger King’ on its streaming platform. The documentary not only showed the reality of big cat owners but also showed how these owners are actually willing to kill each other in order to stay in the business.

The first season, which aired in 2020, was a huge success and received universal acclaim. Yes, there were many people who believed that it was controversial, but who doesn’t like watching controversial things? When will ‘Tiger King 2’ release and where can you watch it?

The upcoming documentary series will premiere exclusively on Netflix on November 17. According to the Netflix press site, the docuseries will be available for streaming at 3:01 am EST. You can watch the first season by signing up for the platform’s free trial. Apart from that, viewers can also opt for different subscription plans provided by the streaming giant. A premium plan that allows more people to watch the service on different screens simultaneously, costs $18 per month. Meanwhile, the basic US plan costs $9 per month.

Who stars in the Netflix true-crime documentary series?

Joe Exotic will be back to tell his side of the story, even though he is behind the bars. Carole Baskin, who has been accused of murdering her first husband, will also be a part of the show as well.

Born on March 5, 1963, Joe Exotic is a media personality and a businessman who has been convicted for the operation of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park. Exotic claimed to be the most prolific breeder of tigers in the United States and also claimed to be one of the world's leading experts in the care of big cats. Apart from running a zoo, he was also a country singer and professional wrestling commentator.

Exotic will also be coming out with his autobiography titled ‘Tiger King: The Official Tell-All Memoir’ on November 9.



 

The rest of the cast includes Jeff Lowe, Tim Stark, Allen Glover, and James Garretson.

The true-crime docuseries is directed by Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin. Apart from Goode and Rebecca, people like Chris Smith and Fisher Stevens serve as executive producers on the show.
