'This is Us' Season 4 Episode 8: Randall notices early signs of Rebecca's illness as Kevin regrets sleeping with Cassidy

Randall is stressed about his new job as a councilman and the fact that his daughter is dating someone who is a teen father.

We knew this day was coming, but we weren't prepared for it... Not yet!

'This is Us' is going to explore Rebecca's (Mandy Moore) sickness in the upcoming Season 4 Episode 8 during her visit to Philly. She is visiting her son Randall (Sterling K Brown) at his new home, and he has a day of sightseeing and fun planned for them. We know this mother-son duo to always have fun together, so it does come as a surprise that Randall seems upset about something pertaining to his mother in the trailer for 'Sorry'.

We know that Rebecca's health deteriorates in the future and that she will be bedridden during the final days of her life. While 'This is Us' is yet to tell us what illness she is battling, fans have speculated that it could be dementia or Alzheimer's disease, the early onset of what we are toughening up to see in the upcoming episode. In the trailer we see her showing some photographs on her phone to her grandchildren, and our best guess is that it would be of their cousin baby Jack, as Randall worriedly stares at them.

Randall is dealing with the mortality of his mother for the first time, which ought to be tough, considering he is very close to his Rebecca. Meanwhile, he is also stressed about his new job as a councilman and the fact that his daughter is dating someone who is a teen father. And, despite all the great things Deja (Lyric Ross) told about Malik (Asante Blackk) in the previous episode, there seems to be trouble in paradise.

Kevin (Justin Hartley), meanwhile, is struggling with his own problems, specifically pertaining to his own aimlessness and the fact that he is getting closer to 40 faster than he would like. He also regrets sleeping with Cassidy (Jennifer Morrison), especially after she tells him that she just signed her divorce papers. Kevin is struggling to make sense of his life at the moment, and as much as we feel for him, we are loving Hartley's acting.

Season 4 Episode 8 of 'This is Us', titled 'Sorry' will air Tuesday, November 12 on NBC.
