Paradise also has its problems as the guests at a luxurious resort in Hawaii find out. 'The White Lotus' coming soon to HBO Max, is a series that follows the vacations of various hotel guests over the span of a week. But with each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel’s cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

'The White Lotus' stars a plethora of talent, including young stars Alexandra Daddario and Jake Lacy. If you're looking for a different type of drama, you can also look forward to some teen drama on HBO Max with the 'Gossip Girl' remake.

Murray Bartlett as Armond

Australian actor Murray Bartlett stars as the manager of the luxury resort, where he wears his ingratiating smile like a mask almost like kabuki, as he says in the trailer of the series. Bartlett started his career playing Luke Foster on the Australian soap 'Neighbours'. In 2000, Bartlett relocated to America and his big break was a role on 'Sex and the City'. Bartlett has also toured with Hugh Jackman in Jackman's Broadway hit 'The Boy From Oz'. He has also had a recurring role in the musical drama 'Nashville' and most recently has been seen playing the central role of Michael 'Mouse' Tolliver in the Netflix revival of 'Tales of the City'.

Connie Britton as Nicole Mossbacher

Connie Britton is an actor and singer who is well known for her role as Tami Taylor on the drama 'Friday Night Lights', for which she garnered two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She went onto star as Vivien Harmon in the first season of 'American Horror Story' for which she was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie. Of late, Britton however is perhaps best known for her role as country singer Rayna Jaymes in the musical drama series 'Nashville', for which she was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama. Britton has also starred on shows such as 'American Crime Story', '9-1-1' and the true crime anthology series 'Dirty John' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film for her performance as Debra Newell.

Jennifer Coolidge as Tanya McQuoid

Jennifer Coolidge may be known to a new generation of fans as the uber-confident and let's face it rather crazy Sophie, from '2 Broke Girs' but the comedic actor has been bringing smiles to viewers' faces for decades now. Coolidge is known for her roles as Jeanine Stifler in the 'American Pie' film series and as Paulette Bonafonté Parcelle in the 'Legally Blonde' film series. Some of her film roles include 'Click', 'Date Movie', 'Epic Movie' and 'Austenland' among others.

Alexandra Daddario as Rachel

Alexandra Daddario's breakthrough role was in the 'Percy Jackson' series where she played Annabeth Chase. She then went onto star in films such as 'Hall Pass', 'Texas Chainsaw 3D'  'San Andreas' and played the role of Summer Quinn in 'Baywatch'. She has also starred on several television series including 'White Collar', 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'True Detective', 'New Girl', and 'American Horror Story: Hotel'.

Fred Hechinger  as Quinn Mossbacher

Fred Hechinger is the grandson of the New York Times Education Editor Fred M Hechinger, but clearly chose to make his mark in show business. The actor has been seen in films such as 'News of the World', 'Human Capital', and the Amy Adams starrer 'The Woman in the Window' which recently premiered on Netflix.

Jake Lacy as Shane Patton 

Jake Lacy is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Pete Miller on 'The Office' and also his role on the sitcom 'Better With You'. He has also had a recurring role on the show 'Girls' and has been a part of the Showtime series 'I'm Dying Up Here'. His films roles include 'Carol' in which he starred opposite Rooney Mara and 'Love the Coopers' in which he starred opposite Olivia Wilde.

Steve Zahn as Mark Mossbacher

Steve Zahn has been a familiar face on our screens for a while now and is known for films such as 'Reality Bites','That Thing You Do!', 'Out of Sight', 'Stuart Little', 'Riding in Cars with Boys','The Diary of a Wimpy Kid' series, 'Dallas Buyers Club', and 'War for the Planet of the Apes'. His television work includes his roles as Davis McAlary on HBO's 'Treme' and Ronnie LaFontaine on ABC's 'Modern Family'.
