‘The Voice’ fans rarely get to see four-chair turns on the singing reality show but when it happens, it is surely followed by a lot of drama as all the coaches sharpen their convincing skills to pick the deserving contestant. The same happened when Kentucky-based mother of two Holly Forbes showed up as the last contestant on round three of the blind auditions at the ongoing ‘The Voice’ Season 21.

Holly Forbes decided to show off her singing skills with Elton John’s legendary song ‘Rocket Man’ which was enough to tear up Ariana Grande. The singer‘s soulful voice got the pop star emotional as she tried her best to hold her tears back. Ariana Grande was the first one to turn around very quickly followed by John Legend. Kelly Clarkson turned her big red chair when Forbes was in the middle of her performance. Blake Shelton was the last one to turn around as the latest episode witnessed another four-chair turn.

Why did Ariana Grande block John Legend from picking Holly Forbes?

Ariana Grande was the only coach left who had not used her power to block other coaches in order to steal the contestant. The ‘Thank U, Next’ hitmaker, however, would have missed this opportunity only if she would not have turned around a millisecond before John Legend, something which the latter joked about after Forbes finished her performance. Ariana Grande did not shy away to block John Legend as she gave a standing ovation to the contestant.

While trying to get the talented singer in her team, a visibly emotional Ariana praised the crooner, saying, “That was so incredible. I am, like, choked up, beyond. Every single second of it was so emotionally charged. I respect and admire and would love to work with you." Kelly also spoke to Holly Forbes as she was thoroughly impressed by her singing skills. "She's[Ariana] great, I get it. I know that there's a slim chance [for me], because if my baby girl liked her, I'd probably go with her too, because I do everything my daughter loves, but, Violet, I'm really cool, too!" Now, in an unexpected twist, the third episode of ‘The Voice’ blinds ended without showing who finally got lucky with Holly Forbes. While fans will have to wait for the fourth episode of the blind auditions to get their answers, there are chances that Holly Forbes might up end in Team Kelly, proving to be a major blow for Ariana Grande.
