The last round of the ‘The Voice’ Season 21 battles kickstarted with a showdown from Team Ariana. The global pop icon brought the trio of KCK3 against the very confident Ryleigh Plank from Florida. Episode 10 which was aired on Tuesday, October 20 saw contestants battling for the top 13 spots for the knockouts that will commence from next week.

Ariana Grande along with her close pal and mentor Kristin Chenoweth groomed both the contestants before they hit the stage in order to mesmerize the coaches namely Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton. Ariana Grande picks Ryleigh Plank over KCK3

Before hitting the stage Ariana Grande gave several crucial tips to KCK3 and Ryleigh that eventually helped them nail their performance for the face-off. After the performance ended, Blake Shelton could not stop praising how amazing Ryleigh sounded and how confident she was on stage. He added that she attacked and it was in her body language the way she performed. Kelly Clarkson and John Legend too leaned in towards Ryleigh as the chances of KCK3 winning the battles slimmed down.

John told Ryleigh that it was intriguing to watch her performance whereas, Kelly chimed in and added she loved the harmonies of KCK3. She could not help but praise Ryleigh saying she was very much into her performance. In the end, it all came to Ariana Grande to pick the winner of the showdown. After much consideration, the pop star opted for Ryleigh as the winner. Unfortunately, KCK3 did not get any steals as they headed back home empty-handed. Ryleigh now advances to the knockouts. She later took to Twitter and expressed her gratitude, “next stop, Knockouts the gratitude I feel is endless!!! Truly never ending!!!  I. LOVE. YOU.”

‘KCK3 sounded like backup’

Social media users expressed their opinion on Ariana picking Ryleigh over KCK3. “KCK3 TRIED to dominate that Battle, but Ryleigh was having none of it she just has the voice and charisma in spades-whoever doesn't get picked by ari should be instantly stolen by someone else and we will have no other result in this house.” Another shared, “KCK3 vs Ryleigh Plank. I am so partial to harmony but Ryleigh was slaying them vocal runs with max attitude. The group girls also pulled out their own can in their solos. Wow! This kept going back and forth for me. Good Battle!”

The next one added, “Ryleigh should win this season. I said what I said.” One posted, “KCK3 sounded like the backup singers to Ryleigh. Arianna would have been crazy to not choose her.” Meanwhile, one shared, “All 3 girls have been giving sour looks this whole time. like man y'all not gonna smile or even look at ryleigh?” Another user tweeted, “oof ryleigh really ate them up.” And, one slammed Ariana, saying, “Never knew Ariana Grande, just her great singing ability. But I see, since she is on The Voice, that she's as dumb as a post. Obviously God realized this (probably while she was in the womb) and so He gave her the gift of incredible singing ability, so she could survive.”
