'The Voice' 2023 Knockouts: Fans call Chance the Rapper 'bada** coach' for eliminating Nariyella

Chance the Rapper chose Ray Uriel over Nariyella in 'The Voice' Season 23 Knockout round

UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: After Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and Niall Horan's teams, it's Chance the Rapper's turn. Ray Uriel and Nariyella sang their best selves. However, Chance went ahead to choosing Ray and eliminating Nariyella from the team.

Seeing this, fans slammed 'The Voice' Season 23 coach for making the wrong choice and robbing Nariyella of her chance. Seeing Chance the Rapper eliminate Nariyella some of the fans called out the coach to be a "bada**." Well, it seems that it was not only Chance the Rapper who believe Nariyella was not up to the mark in the Knockout round, there were other judges with the same view.

Nariyella sang 'Bust Your Windows' with her energetic and full of anger tone. Reba McEntire called Nariyella's singing "incredible" and suggested she try music without a mic because of her high pitch tone. Where Ray had gentleness and edge in his voice, Nariyella had anger and sharpness. Kelly Clarkson called Nariyella "gifted" and went ahead praising Ray's performance, calling it "tasteful." She then chose Ray over Nariyella.

Well, it was not only Kelly who went ahead with Ray but Blake Shelton as well. He believed something was holding Nariyella back in the knockout round. However, the only coach who leaned toward Nariyella was Niall Horan. Chance the Rapper went ahead with the majority vote and thereby choosing Ray for his team. 

'The Voice' fans call Chance The Rapper 'bad a**' coach

Seeing Chance the Rapper choose Ray over Nariyella a fan tweeted, "IS CHANCE THE RAPPER INSANE???? NARIYELLA WAS AMAZING WHAT?!?!? also Marcos." Another slammed the coach saying, "@chancetherapper #TheVoice Your a bad a** coach." Furthermore, a fan claimed, "wrong call for the coaches" seeing mostly all them side with Ray. "@chancetherapper #TheVoice I think you made a huge mistake letting NariYella go! She was the best singer on your team. Ray’s voice is nice but not strong. You just lost the Voice and I was rooting for you," tweeted a fan. A fan wondered, "Nariyella too talented. She needs to get S.I.G.N.E.D . She was a 4 chair turnnn."
