'The Voice' 2022: Team Blake's Bryce Leatherwood's singing too 'average' for fans who want him out of Top 10
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After escaping elimination by the skin of his teeth, Team Blake's Bryce Leatherwood returned to 'The Voice' stage ready to secure a spot amongst the Top 10. While Bryce's coach Blake Shelton felt that the artist's rendition of George Strait's 'Amarillo by Morning' was good enough to "fix the problem" and avert Bryce from landing amongst the bottom artists at the risk of elimination yet again, unfortunately, fans didn't share the same feelings.
'The Voice' fans were anything but impressed by Bryce's performance. From calling him an "average singer" to comparing him to a "bar singer," fans had a lot of strong feelings about Bryce's performance, despite the coaches raving about his performance.

A fan commented on the show's YouTube clip of his performance, "I love Bryce, but to be honest, I got a bit bored by this performance. His vocals were good, but I didn't really feel connected and I think it was a little monotonous. I wish he had explored more of his gorgeous deep lower register or did some high notes to shake things up a little." "He’s an average singer. Doesn’t deserve the strong accolades Blake gives him in my opinion. Nothing outstanding," wrote a fan. "This does not seem genuine, it seems rather labored, trying too hard to be too country. This is a great country classic song, you can chill with trying to make it more than it is," observed a fan.
Another fan added, "It is one of his better songs Butt it seems as though there is something missing in him like his voice is short winded his Coach's better figure it out or he should go home." "He just better thank Blake for having that kind of following because if this show was truly about the voice you would have been gone a long time ago," declared a fan. "I only wish his voice was stronger; compared to the competition, he’s not up there to me. More of a bar singer vibe," expressed a fan.
